My son and I stopped in because the name made us chuckle, but we were blown away by the food. The burger (smash style, perfectly crispy on the edges and juicy inside) and fries were both *perfectly* seasoned and cooked, all ingredients were extremely fresh, and the staff was friendly and service prompt.
They also have a veggie burger option, if you’ve got vegans in the family. If you’re in the area, I’d advise you to consider a burger from the come back shack a priority!

Ordered a cajun chicken sandwich with pineapple only. No pineapple on sandwich, but a tomato and mayonnaise. I am allergic to tomato. My friend told me to look out for the grisle in the chicken. I tore one tenderloin apart and as you can clearly see… one long stretchy piece of skin and a grisle half the size of a pencil. So disgusting and cannot believe I paid $8 for this. My friends had to throw away their food too after seeing what I pulled out of my sandwich.

As much as I do like the food here when I visit town, this is the second time my beef patties were red inside. Guys … dont get in such a hurry. Fully cook the meat please. I can wait an extra two minutes for you to seer the meat well done. Otherwise the Food quality rating would be higher.

Really good food and real nice employees, clean and great music playing. Fried green tomato burger was great and nephew said patty melt was awesome. Daughter said Cajun chicken sandwich was delicious

First time trying the food though, and I was not disappointed. I won’t be risking a car crash to try to go back though. Boone and this street specifically are too busy for this terrible parking lot/drive thru situation that they have going on. Better go at a non-busy time or you will regret turning into their lot.

This was a yummy burger joint. Order at a kiosk or by phone at your table, receive a text when order is ready. Self service soda, tea and even ice coffee. The banana pudding milkshake was so delicious . This place was so good we had to hit it up a 2nd time before heading back home.

First time. Ordered the burger with the fried green tomatoes and oreo milkshake! Delicious! Will be keeping an eye out for them in the lowest country SC. Order is taken through kiosk and picked up at the counter. Always busy.

Tonight marks the second time in a couple of months that our order has been completely wrong. We ordered a burger, a chicken sandwich, and speciality fries. There was confusion at the front about our drink, and when we got home, we realized we had been charged for several items that we never received. On top of that, the burgers didn’t taste good and were slightly cold.
It’s really disappointing to wait in line, deal with employees who don’t seem to care at all, and then end up paying for food you don’t even get. At this point, I’d much rather support a local restaurant that consistently gets the order right. The Cardinal is amazing.. tasted amazing and honestly ends up being cheaper when you’re not paying for items you never receive.

Delicious. You order through your phone and they bring the food out and you just pick it up. Easy and the burgers were delicious. Their veggie burger is homemade with actual veggie bits in it.
