In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Today, we continue their mission at every Black Bear Diner across the country, as we passionately provide guests an outstanding experience. The Black Bear Diner in Tulsa was a nice eating experience. The service was nice, our waitress was very friendly and attentive and we got seated quickly. The menu is extremly diverse so it can be difficult to choose what you want to eat. I got the pot roast and grits, they both came out about lukewarm and the pot roast seemed to lack a little bit of flavor, but I still found it enjoyable. The decor in the resturant is a HUGE plus, there are black bear pictures, paintings, and various kinds of decoration everywhere.

I have been to this location three times now, my eggs come out cold every time. I do not like to send my food back, I just eat the cold eggs every time, hoping the next will be better.. it never is.

Our meals were absolutely the best. Perfect seasoning on the taco salad shell and the broccoli. Will definitely recommend to all and will be going back.

We had a party of five and waited over an hour and a half for our food, only to discover, after asking for a manager, that our server never entered our order because he “got distracted.”
Once the manager was involved, our order was finally placed. However, instead of prioritizing it given the circumstances, it was simply added to the regular kitchen queue. We then waited an additional 30 minutes before the food arrived, making our total wait close to two hours.
To be fair, the food itself tasted good once it arrived. The issue was not the quality of the meal, it was the lack of communication, urgency, and meaningful recovery after a significant service failure.
The only compensation offered at first was a $10 coupon to return another time, which felt inadequate given the situation and the amount of time wasted.
After the food was delivered was when it was confirmed that they were comping our meal.
Unfortunately, the overall experience left us frustrated and disappointed. We won’t be returning.

Great food! Server was good, but didn’t know the menu. My husband should have had Red potatoes served with his scramBowl. They were still under the warmer.

Let me start by saying the service was excellent! We were seated quickly and our waitress was very friendly.
There was so much to chose from on the menu. Once we placed our orders it didn’t take long does our dood to come out.
The presentation was amazing and we couldn’t wait to dig in.
Boy oh boy were we disappointed. They did not flavor anything on our plates. I don’t think I have ever had such a bland meal. It’s hard to mess up potatoes but they did, all they had to do was add a little salt and pepper. The only thing that was good was the pancakess and French toast.
Please tell the cook to season the food.
We have been to a few other locations and were satisfied.
I may or may not visit this location again.

Im not sure where to start but I’m getting disappointed. This is the second time we’ve came and with a different waitress but both times we’ve had to send back food and afraid to even send it back again for another mistake. This time the server brought it back to the kitchen saying,”He said no dressing but I guess that meant no mayo too ♀️” and when they brought it back it had a unsavory looking tomato & piled with onions he didn’t want. We decided not to send it back because she already seemed upset? The homemade coleslaw is just a little bowl of dry not fresh veggies with a little topping of mayo. Disappointed
