Service is good. The portion is actually large for 1 person. If you are a meat eater, you like it here. They gave 2 big pieces of grill meats.

I tried the pork chop and it did not disappoint! The portion was huge with a generous cut of meat, juicy and tender with a nice sear. The plate was loaded, definitely a full meal and then some. Lots of flavor, well-seasoned, and served in true hearty Vietnamese style.
Nhiều thịt ăn xỉu luôn.

Food here is ok and some different combos other than com tam. Decor still the same as previous owners, not a great vibe.

Came here based on someone’s recommendation on a Tuesday night. A small crowd and we didn’t have to wait and got our food immediately. I got sườn and thịt nướng with no bì and replaced it with a fried egg. The fish sauce was not bad, but the meat was kinda dry and hard to chew, and the chả trứng muối(salted egg yolk egg cake) was a bit overcooked and kinda rubbery. Even though the a few things I didn’t like about it, I thought it was an ok restaurant, and for the price you pay what you get. Overall, not bad but not amazing. Good enough. Large portions and offers you chè dessert after your food. The service was good.

Everything is good. The price is $2 cheaper than cơm tấm Xi Gòn. No need to get line for Saturday lunch. The grill pork rib is big and tasty. The soup is ok. Box for food left over togo 15 cent/ each. I notice the drink is a bit pricey. So far I love both places.

I had a disappointing experience first time having com tam here a few months ago and wanted to give it another chance today and it was STILL disappointing. The presentation of the rice plate looked very good and yummy, however the grilled pork chop was undercooked inside and tough to eat and very fatty. We ended up not touching most of the pork chop and just finished the rice, pork skin and steamed egg. Not coming back again. I quietly provided the feedback to the cashier and were told the pork chops were probably overcooked. I would not come back again for com tam.
