Not commenting on the atmosphere never died then, but I do know one thing I’ve been ordering them for a while, and my pizza never came out like this. I ordered double toppings on each side of the pizza and let me show y’all what they on to me and because of that now I’ve severed the ties of one of the best pizzas that I had in Chicago. The left side was sausage and mushroom and the other side was supposed to be roast beef and giardiniera peppers but this is what I got and I’m telling you literally only out of 10 slices of pizza. Three piece pieces had one little piece of sausage on each one Not even any roast beef anywhere probably And maybe a pepper and out of 10 slices possibly three or four and it wasn’t even a pepper. It was a celery piece.

Calutas’s pizza is one of my go to places. I like their pizza and chicken. I ordered the foot long Italian sausage sandwich with red sauce and sweet peppers and chicken. AAA+

First time trying out Coluta’s recently. Put an order in for takeout at the restaurant and waited about 20 minutes until my 14-inch cheese pizza was done. The server was nice, and the prices seemed fair. There’s a 3% surcharge if you use your credit card. There was some debris on the floor, and the tables weren’t wiped down. There are 2 tables with 4 seats each and 2 booths that seats 4 people each. Some interesting artwork was framed on the walls. They also apparently sponsor a children’s baseball team, so good on them. The pizza was decent. Crust was much thicker than anticipated, and I wasn’t that big of a fan of it. The cheese was good and well-seasoned, and the sauce was quite tangy. Overall, not a bad first experience. Cheers.

I’ve been coming to this place since I was a child (I’m 34 now). I make special trips from where I live now, 35 mins away, to eat here . The last two times I’ve been here were genuinely bad experiences. First time, slice with no sausage. Second time, girl knocks all the cheese off and guy from the back yells “it’s a four dollar slice!” from the back. Leaving five stars anyway, but let’s get it right guys. Prices are skyrocketing for pizza slices, least we can do is be happy with our food.

I ordered pizza from this location by mistake. A lady called me with an attitude telling me the order was ready. When I realized the address was far out from me, I said they could keep it or give it to someone in need. This lady on the phone tries to make my kindness sound like I’m stupid by telling me, “And it took you until now to realize it?” I don’t want to bash the food since I didn’t have any of it but if it tastes anything like that lady’s attitude then no thank you. Y’all already got my money so I don’t understand why she was being so snotty with me.

This is not a deep dish pizza place. Don’t come here for deep dish. The pizza is an inch of toppings and than an inch of bread. I wont consider or recommend this place if im looking for deep dish pizza. Just look at all that bread. The ratio is off. Just charge more of it costs more to make a real deep dish. Don’t present this product falsely.

Delicious…

I saw talk about this location on a Facebook group, I had to try it.

I’m glad I did. The pizza was great. The sauce had a nice balance of sweet and savory flavor, I really enjoyed it. The sausage was excellent. The crust was made just right. The only thing was maybe a little more cheese than I like. But, I still loved the pizza.

There are a few tables inside to eat in. I did carryout. The person I interacted with was friendly and helpful.

I would return again when in the area.
Great job to everyone that made my experience happen.

Take four pieces of white bread , press together, put some bland sauce on it , add cheese and not so bad sausage …….. presto that’s what it tasted like . Thick or dense bland crust and sauce simply made me wonder how that stay in business with a product like that ?
