Stopped in town to stay the night before our long drive back home, MAN is this place awesome! We stayed in downtown golden a week prior and checked out some of the bars, but I really wish we came here instead. It’s a great vibe inside and family run too, we came in and the owner warmly greeted us, chatted with us, and made the night great overall. Looking around the place we could tell that they have some great times there that we’ve missed out on!

After the dreaded drive of I 70 I was just looking for a drink and some good company. Man, can I tell you what. I found not only the perfect place for a drink away from all the chaos of Denver, but a place to get my board tuned as well. The service was amazing, really love to see a family run business nestled in Golden. Everyone there was so pleasant and enjoyable. Drinks were a good price and service was fabulous. I also noticed a big yard where they do live music in the summer. I definitely will be back for a good summer here. Thanks guys! You made my trip amazing!

Looked like a friendly crowd at the bar. They remodeled and looks nice. The best part about it is you can get your skies tuned and a beer for $25 on Thursdays! Chris is an excellent tuner and has done my skis for 4 years.

This place has been around since the 50s. Originally, it began as a hangout for Coors employees. It’s filled with awesome Coors memorabilia and old stuff you can’t find anywhere else. The back yard is amazing, and is huge. The service is always friendly. They offer ski and snowboard tuning as well! Horseshoes are available in the spacious backyard if you want to get your game on. If you want craft beer in many options, stick to the hipster local breweries. But if you want a classic bar with good views, good people and old school atmosphere, go to the Columbine. Chris will be happy to serve you.

Great place to go in Golden. A better atmosphere than Rock Rest. There is outdoor seating with a fire pit. Bluegrass bands play on some nights. Fish Fry on every other Friday. Call ahead to verify events.
