Celebration has several lovely restaurants, but you’d have a hard time finding one more popular than Columbia Restaurant- Celebration.
Columbia legitimately claims to be home to the original Cuban sandwiches found in the US. Their food is fresh and authentic. I love having friends dine there with me because they are so easy to work with on seating large groups. Call and make a reservation ahead of time, and no matter how big or small, they can accommodate your group. All their employees have been polite and very competent. You will enjoy their Spanish/Cuban meals. Located on Front Street, my first suggestion is don’t try to park close by, as parking along Front Street is maddeningly hard to come by park out and walk in. Second, after your meal, walk around the town for a while. Columbia overlooks the lake, and Celebration’s downtown is picturesque and quaint. We’ve always had an excellent meal here with amazing service in a beautifully decorated restaurant. Columbia’s restroom is large with many stalls and always clean. Their most popular menu item is the 1905 salad. I love their crab cakes. Enjoy!

The atmosphere at Columbia Restaurant is beautiful. We sat outside on the patio, which made the experience even better — such a lovely setting to relax and enjoy dinner. Our server was kind and attentive, but overall the service was quite slow. We waited close to an hour for our food to arrive.

That said, the food itself was mostly excellent. The bread was delicious, and the kids’ meal (mac & cheese with fries) was great as well. The paella was amazing — full of flavor and the perfect portion size for two people to share. We also ordered black beans and rice and ropa vieja; the beans and rice were good, though the ropa vieja wasn’t our favorite.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would come back again, just hoping for a faster service next time.

It was a busy Saturday night so we expected to wait a while. The wait wasn’t too bad. Our waitress, Angela, was very prompt and knowledgeable. We ordered the 1905 salad. It was the best salad I’ve ever tasted. My wife ordered the stuffed grouper and enjoyed it. My Bambino steak however was a bit of a disappointment. I asked for medium-rare and it was more to the medium doneness. It was very tough for a NewYork strip. Angela asked if I wanted another but I had already finished much of it. They compted the steak without me asking. I’d go back but would order something different.

We went there for appetizers, drinks, and sangria. The waitresses and hostesses were kind and attentive. We ended up eating multiple entrees which were quite tasty. However, it was also expensive. The atmosphere was social, fun, and upbeat providing seating arrangements that were ideal for a night out.

We had a fantastic time at Columbia Restaurant! After a long and exhausting day of travel, we arrived feeling worn down — but this place brought us right back to life. The ambiance is warm, lively, and rich with character. It’s no surprise the restaurant was packed (definitely recommend a reservation), but every member of the staff remained exceptionally welcoming and attentive. Their kindness paired with phenomenal food gave us a whole new burst of energy.

To start, we ordered margaritas and sangria — both fresh, fun, and exactly what we needed. The calamari was crunchy, flavorful, and disappeared quickly. We all had to try the famous 1905 Salad, and wow — absolutely worth the hype. Mixed right at the table, you can taste how fresh each ingredient is. A must-order!

For mains, I went with the Seafood Cannelloni, and I’m still thinking about it. Loaded with lobster, shrimp, and scallops — so flavorful and such a great portion. My other half chose the salmon with yellow rice and Brussels sprouts and could not stop saying how good it was… over and over.

We were seated at a round table in the center of the action — the perfect setup for catching up, sharing bites, and laughing through the night. It truly helped transform our tired moods into a memorable, joy-filled evening with friends.

Columbia Restaurant is the kind of place that makes any night feel special.
We’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in town. ✨

I tried a sangria, a paella and a tapa, all of them tasted great. My server was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. The restaurant is in an excellent location. It’s in downtown with many businesses and a nice lake right outside. I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant and will go back.

The pollo manchego is a must try! I loved the flavor of the sauce which paired very well with the chicken and rice. Even the rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My boyfriend got the Mahi Mahi Cuban and although the huge piece of fish was fresh and cooked very well we thought the sandwich as a whole lacked seasoning. The bread pudding was mind blowing!!!!! Super heavy but worth every bite. The ambience is super nice and feels very authentic.

We had absolutely the best time at this restaurant! It was my first time and we had the waitress named Yelitza who was phenomenal. She started us off by explaining the history behind the restaurant and clarifying it is actually Cuban cuisine not Colombian, which i did not realize. She was attentive from start to finish. Very patient, friendly, respectful and overall an absolutely wonderful staff member. We sat outside since it was lovely weather and the ambiance was picture perfect. Food was delicious and fresh. Dessert flan was so worth the calories! Would highly recommend if you are in the area and will be going again!

Love this place. It’s great everywhere you go. The tableside sangria is so so amazing! The pitcher fills 4 glasses -$30 each pitcher. Both red & white were wonderful!! The food is amazing. Pollo Manchego was so delicious. The rice, beans. Everything is great. You also get warm toasty bread wrapped in a warm napkin. I liked the inside but the outside was too crunchy for me.
Outdoor seating was nice & clean. You can feel a breeze in the evenings, its very nice. The indoor seating is beautiful also. They have a separate bar area that wasn’t busy at all on a Frid night.
There is parallel parking available.
Overall the prices are great also for great quality.
