Columbia legitimately claims to be home to the original Cuban sandwiches found in the US. Their food is fresh and authentic. I love having friends dine there with me because they are so easy to work with on seating large groups. Call and make a reservation ahead of time, and no matter how big or small, they can accommodate your group. All their employees have been polite and very competent. You will enjoy their Spanish/Cuban meals. Located on Front Street, my first suggestion is don’t try to park close by, as parking along Front Street is maddeningly hard to come by park out and walk in. Second, after your meal, walk around the town for a while. Columbia overlooks the lake, and Celebration’s downtown is picturesque and quaint. We’ve always had an excellent meal here with amazing service in a beautifully decorated restaurant. Columbia’s restroom is large with many stalls and always clean. Their most popular menu item is the 1905 salad. I love their crab cakes. Enjoy!
That said, the food itself was mostly excellent. The bread was delicious, and the kids’ meal (mac & cheese with fries) was great as well. The paella was amazing — full of flavor and the perfect portion size for two people to share. We also ordered black beans and rice and ropa vieja; the beans and rice were good, though the ropa vieja wasn’t our favorite.
Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would come back again, just hoping for a faster service next time.
From the history, decorations and food, you feel like your in another country. It’s got an interesting history beautiful culture novelties delicious food and a great environment. Customer service was excellent.
Well recommended for family and friends. Great for gatherings and special occasions.
To start, we ordered margaritas and sangria — both fresh, fun, and exactly what we needed. The calamari was crunchy, flavorful, and disappeared quickly. We all had to try the famous 1905 Salad, and wow — absolutely worth the hype. Mixed right at the table, you can taste how fresh each ingredient is. A must-order!
For mains, I went with the Seafood Cannelloni, and I’m still thinking about it. Loaded with lobster, shrimp, and scallops — so flavorful and such a great portion. My other half chose the salmon with yellow rice and Brussels sprouts and could not stop saying how good it was… over and over.
We were seated at a round table in the center of the action — the perfect setup for catching up, sharing bites, and laughing through the night. It truly helped transform our tired moods into a memorable, joy-filled evening with friends.
Columbia Restaurant is the kind of place that makes any night feel special.
We’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in town. ✨
Outdoor seating was nice & clean. You can feel a breeze in the evenings, its very nice. The indoor seating is beautiful also. They have a separate bar area that wasn’t busy at all on a Frid night.
There is parallel parking available.
Overall the prices are great also for great quality.
