Good food at decent prices with great service.
Ordered the blackened salmon, fish and chips, and the onion blossom appetizer. The fish and chips was really good and the freshly made tartar sauce made it better. The onion blossom appetizer is seriously great, we liked it better than other similar battered onion options at competing restaurants. The salmon was our least favorite, the taste of salmon was muted at best; however, the raspberry chipotle sauce made the dish desirable albeit not because it tasted like salmon as the sauce overtook the little salmon taste that was present.
The “blackened salmon” was not done right, it was more freshly grilled than blackened. We politely notified our server who subsequently notified a manager. The manager checked in with us and we let him know of the issue and we said we were good with it as it was, we just wanted to let someone know of the error. The manager kindly comped our appetizer without us asking or demanding some sort of recompense, a very pleasant surprise when the bill came.

Each time we visit west plains we eat coltons. Yesterday being valentines day we decided of course to have dinner here. I fully appreciate your management staff that were running around handling all aspects of the business. I appreciate the waitress we had; She was so friendly and attentive. The hosts that were on their game with accuracy. The bust boys working fast to turn tables. The kitchen, they were kicking tickets out again with accuracy. And to any other staff I’ve forgotten. You were seen and appreciated. Thank you for being on point and having a wonderful staff.

We had a late lunch there today. Overall, it was great! Pricilla was an awesome server! Food was great. Husbands steak was slightly undercooked, but after being refired, came out great. Best fried okra that I have had, besides me own. Lol.

Food was delish! Really enjoyed the salad, cheese sticks, and the chicken fried chicken with smashed potatoes, gravy and zucchini. Kids meal is amazing- the burgers came so huge, and steak fries really good. Def worth it for family of five.

Well let’s start with service, it was really good the bartender waited on our family. So she was busy. But did very good. We ordered steak Rib eye asked for med rare, came out super rare couldn’t eat it at all, they tried to make another but in this time everyone else was finished. So manager talked to us, took it off. But was implementing it was our fault. But oh well cooks need to learn to cook. And in my defense it was 11 o’clock in the morning and 2 families were there. So no rushing just laziness on the cook.

I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed with Colton’s. I have been to several locations and they all serve the best food with the best service. This particular place deserves all the stars. Our waitress was on the ball and very pleasant to work with. The food came out promptly and hot. It did not sit under any heat lamps because she rushed it to us when it was ready. The prices were not outrageous, in line with other family restaurants of similar caliber. Highly recommend.

Three different steaks- all perfectly cooked, tender and full of flavor. The rolls were hot and melt in your mouth delicious. Jenna’s service was impeccable, she anticipated our every need and was there before we asked, all while taking care of multiple tables, one being a large group. Definitely a 10/10 dining experience!
