I love leaving good reviews… but for this restaurant, it’s difficult.
The food was really good — the meat and the burgers were great and generously sized. Also, the prices are affordable for the portion sizes. However, even though we were the only customers in the restaurant, the food took too long to arrive, and the service was a bit slow.
But the worst part came when it was time to pay. They didn’t accept Apple Pay because they don’t have contactless payment. We were a group of five students, and only one of us had a physical card or cash — but not enough to cover the entire bill. At that point, the bartender started speaking to us rudely and even accused us of trying to steal.
We eventually managed to pay, but the way they talked to us wasn’t cool at all.

We tey to give a great review when possible however we have ate at Coltons on multiple occasions giving them the benefit of doubt that it was an off day. We have since decided we wont be returning. The food is not consistent in freshness and flavor. On our last visit our salad was brown, our steak had little flavor, the waitress did not check back with us rather she spent 20 minutes talking with someone at another table and the floor especially under the tables were less than clean. It was an off time of the day… they were not busy (only 2 other tables occupied). Unfortunately due to several like experiences we wont be returning.

A fun and busy restaurant. Great music, at a perfect volume for table conversation, super menu choices prepared expertly, served nice and hot by friendly wait staff. The bucket of peanuts was A+!

Loved this steak house. Breanna my server was amazing and sweet. Very attentive and was on point with service. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I love the fact when you order a steak and it’s served they ask you to cut into it to make sure it is cooked the way you like it. Definitely in my travels if there is a Coltons I will stop for a dinner! Thank you for awesome food and service!

Went today 12-4-22. I ordered the catfish and bbq rib plate with mash potatoes work brown gravy and fries. Everything was wonderfully cooked to perfection. Tasted great with just right about I of seasoning. The waitress was very polite and friendly and she kept up with the church cross.

Our steaks were cooked to perfection (medium). Very well seasoned. The loaded smashed potatoes were so good! The queso wasn’t our cup of tea. My strip steak ended up having a piece of bone in and I almost cracked my crown on it which was disappointing. Overall, the experience was positive and we plan to be back soon!

I order a to-go order. Disappointing that the burger was overcooked asked for medium and it was cooked well done. I also order fried pickles it looked like it was the scraps from the bottom of a jar. Not a good experience for me personally

Drinks were great. Peanuts were freshly roasted with great salt flavor. Bread was yummy. We had spinach dip which was awesome. We had steaks, salmon, pork chops, loaded chicken and sirloin and these were great. Excellent service and experience…

It was awful! Would never recommend coming here again. Family member put in our group amount, told 20 minute wait. After 45 minutes took us to our table and only set up for half our party. Waited over an hour and when they had seated the entire lobby instead of us, we left. This was the second time having issues at this location. Not coming back. Sedalia needs a different steak house.

First off the throwing of the peanut shells on the floor should be changed. At first I was going to leave because I thought ir was short staffed and unclean then realized you offer peanuts. Mayne placing another barrel next to it and asking to throw the shells in there as opposed to the floor. Asked for a shot and got it on ice…… luckily the bartender corrected the problem but we had to go to the bar to fix it. Food was not cooked properly the first time but refired and was just alright. As a foodie….. this is not a place I would go back to.
