Went to Colore‘s last night to celebrate my daughter‘s 30th birthday. Had a fantastic dinner. Sierra took great care of us. The wait staff is very tentative, water glasses refilled, dirty dishes were removed, cocktails reordered. I always order the baked penny pasta, which is always delicious, my husband ordered the special of the seafood pasta. You need to always order the barrata appetizer is to die for. The peach bread pudding with hot caramel sauce is a must try on any visit. This location is half the distance to the Broadway one so this will definitely become our Italian must go to.
A reservation on a Friday or Saturday is highly suggested.

Decent Italian food. Overall the vibe feels off. Wait staff acted like it was fine-dining, pretending to be well versed in lots of wines. In reality, neither wine was very good despite being promise “you’ll absolutely love it” (their super Tuscan blend). Didn’t find the wine list above average. Wait staff did try hard and were kind.
Atmosphere feel like a brewery, with concrete floors, simple booths, table after table next to each other in the open. There is even a large table right by the kitchen with no doors, so the noise travels. Leant more towards a dimly lit pizzeria than classy Italian. Food was decent, but not amazing. Pastas with no protein ~$18, entrees ~$27.
I think this is a newer location and they’re still figuring themselves out. I would try their food again but to-go, until I see if the vibe gets refined.
*Don’t give patrons flimsy plastic to-go containers for hot food that can’t even be microwaved. Those are for salads. You should know better.*

We came to Colore in Columbine for my 35th birthday with a group of 14, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Nick took great care of us and handled a large table with real attention and ease. The calamari stood out right away and the Chicken Saltimbocca was excellent. Everything came out hot, paced well, and the service felt consistent the whole night. A great place to celebrate.

Excellent addition to the neighborhood.
Fresh tasty Italian fare, good service, nice environment.
This area was lacking for this type of restaurant and it works very well here.
Salads were fresh and light, salmon fried perfectly and delicious.
Pasta is very tasty, the different sauces have all been pleasantly surprising with their taste.
I enjoyed an Italian soda and a latte, espresso was quite nice.

Chad was our server. From the moment we sat down, he explained everything and treated us with warmth and kindness. He suggested daily specials, all tempting. We ate a little bit of everything. The food was cooked to perfection. The dessert was delicious, and everything was served very quickly. Thank you so much for the experience. We will definitely be back!

Amazing, fresh, homemade food. Lovely atmosphere for either a romantic dinner or group of friends. The food is Southern Italian, fresh and slightly Mediterranean. There is quite a large selection from pastas to fish or meat. Portions are lightly generous. The staff are wonderful, and we have seen the owner ( husband and wife) on site each time we have been there. Great food, lower than usual prices and very fresh. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Brand new location of one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. Our server Bobby was super attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. Highly recommend making a reservation over the weekend, its super busy! I ordered mussels (a little spicy, it was awesome) and shrimp scampi, perfect portions! Will be back.

Tried Calore for the first time tonight. The food was absolutely 10/10. The atmosphere is very nice and they did a great job with the place. Literally no complaints. Damein was our server and did such a great job. So knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this place!

I’m extremely disappointed with this restaurant. My husband ordered a standard spaghetti meal, while I ordered a gluten-free Alfredo meal. Not only was I charged an additional $3 for the gluten-free option, but my portion was noticeably smaller—about one-third of what he received (see picture). To make matters worse, his meal came with breadsticks, while mine did not. It feels like I was charged more for significantly less food, which is both unfair and unacceptable. This place is a complete ripoff for anyone with a gluten allergy.

*Edit: The restaurant reached out and explained that they serve pasta by weight and this is 6 oz of gluten free pasta and 6 oz regular pasta. My husband had also added veggies and meat to his. Even if this is the same weight of pasta, gluten free pasta is inherently not the same volume as regular pasta. Plus regular entrees get breadsticks. I would suggest that they serve more of the gluten free pasta to make it worth the price. It was delicious- All the more reason I was disappointed I didn’t have more.

We’ve always loved Caloré on Broadway, but we’re so excited to have this new location closer to home! Jennifer was our server, and she was absolutely amazing — she made our entire dining experience exceptional. Truly can’t say enough kind words about her.

The food was just as delicious as ever! I had the shrimp fra diavolo, and my guest ordered the eggplant parmesan. We started with the jalapeño artichoke dip and split a Caloré salad — everything was fantastic.

Caloré is always so consistently good, and we’re always impressed. The atmosphere here felt a bit quieter and not quite as lively as the Broadway location, but it’s no big deal. It’s a brand-new spot, and with food and service this good, it’s already off to a great start.

We didn’t order dessert this time, but the pistachio gelato is pure heaven!
