The food was excellent as always. Great food and huge portions. I’m in love with the avocado salad. My mom goes there quite often. Definitely try some of their baked goods we ordered a lot to go the guava pandebono is to die for and I’m not usually a sweet bread type of person but I highly recommend it

When I ordered my bandeja paisa, the waiter asked me if I wanted black or red beans,
I mis heard her because of the music and the noise in the restaurant. She gave me an attitude for simply not hearing her right.
I didn’t come to a restaurant to receive attitude. I’m sorry if I couldn’t understand you ? I just want to enjoy my food and have a great time with my fam.

Only to get mango juice in the end.
My drink got switched with someone else.
Got my maracuya in the end but
no apologies either. Awesome !
Food was delicious, on point with servings and flavor. Towards the end after we got our food in containers. No one bothered to check on us for the bill. We had to flag someone down for that.
Overall service could have been better.

We had the most awesome breakfast at CK today. We have been stopping by and grabbing some version of their grab-to-go cheese breads every time we are in the area. Today we sat and had some amazing breakfast. I went “super gringo” and had a BEC on their amazing version of a Texas Toast. Also had a guava roll. My wife had their cheese bread with eggs and scallions. We loved it and will be back every time we are in the area.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Colombia Kaliente in Englewood. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the great atmosphere — beautiful bar, excellent infrastructure, and a premium vibe that really stands out in the area.
The service is spectacular. A special shoutout to Maria, the bartender — truly outstanding. Friendly, attentive, professional, and very knowledgeable. The bartenders overall are excellent, welcoming, and make you feel right at home. The hostess service was also warm and professional from the start.
The food came out super fast, fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. Everything we tried was spectacular — full of flavor, well presented, and clearly made with quality ingredients.
The bakery is incredible as well — fresh, authentic, and top quality.

My husband and I dropped in here on a whim on a recent date night, and we’re so glad we did. The space is cavernous, with a fun, festive vibe for those chasing ambiance, along with two enormous TVs for those who just want to kick back and watch some sports with their meal. The menu is diner-deep, but nearly every dish is accompanied with a photo. As newcomers, we found this especially helpful.
The fried calamari are fantastic. Hot, freshly fried, and perfectly tender. My husband, who is particular about those tentacle pieces, was delighted to see half our plate covered with them. Since we were at a Columbian restaurant, we wanted to try something authentic but felt too shy to ask around, so we went with something from the specials section called ‘chicken with Columbian mushroom sauce’. Wowza was that good. I have no idea how true to the culture it was, but that cream sauce was something else. We dragged everything we could through the last droplets, unwilling to see it wasted. The specials also come with rice, choice of salad or soup, choice of beans, and fried plantains. It’s a generous serving size, so much that one shared entree, plus an appetizer and salad, was more than enough food for us.
All servers are equipped with ear pieces to directly communicate with staff and the kitchen. It seemed a little overkill at first…until we found out how efficiently the service was as a result. While ordering an entree, for instance, our server was able to quickly chat with the back staff to check if there was any soup left. When we were done with our meal, a busser was able to quickly flag down our server for the check. And when there was a massive crash and spill at a nearby table because some kid chucked his water glass, three people descended upon the mess in – no joke – under ten seconds because of this radio. It’s a frighteningly efficient system, and it meant we hardly ever needed to wait for anything.
While we didn’t get to try anything from the drink or desserts menu this visit, know that the selection is tantalizing. We vowed to return for the margarita flights and the pastries on display at the in-house bakery.

Amazing food and great service! The flavors are authentic and everything tastes fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is warm and clean. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

The beans are not colombian beans. The Colombian beans are red not brown with a slightly green tint to it. That’s the biggest disappointment I have at this place, the rest of the food is great. Great service. Friendly, attentive and polite.
