Had enough, will never get anymore bread. Have refused bread twice now, and today I got 2 loaves, and 1 had a circle of brown dough in the middle of it. Have bought cream buns previously and they were salty.

Best value for money bakery I’ve come across. Pack of four cream buns for $6, a quarter of the price charged in nearby Bowen. Very quick and efficient service; however, remember to bring cash. They do not have facilities for card payment, and the automatic teller machine there was out of service when we visited.

Small bakery but a large selection, they did have EFTPOS when I visited. I had the pie of the day “Prawn Mornay” and a steak, tomato and onion one. Some of the best pies I have had, and they were not falling apart like some others have commented.

Yum!! I was starving and ordered a pie and sausage roll. Very nice, baked on site, note they did not have eftpos which was weird however their food was actually really nice!
