The service was great, and the restaurant itself is clean and inviting. The decor is nice. I wish they spent as much thought on the food, however. I ordered 3 tacos which didn’t come with collards despite the name of the restaurant, so of course I added on a side of them. They provide chips and salsa which looked good but had no flavor. This became the theme of the food. Somehow the birria and the consomme that comes with the birria had no taste! Not even salt! The collard greens also tasted like watery green soup even though it had bacon. I’m not sure how you take two such flavorful dishes and have them be so bland. Very disappointing unfortunately.

I didn’t try the food so I can’t comment on it other than what my 3 boys thought about their plates… All 3 said they were delicious and would definitely order it again… The music was fun!! Most everyone was up on their feet “cutting a rug” lol… Definitely will be back!!! My kids ages range from 18 to 5 and they all had a great time!!!
