Great homemade food, made to order. Joe, the owner (?) made us feel very welcome and catered to our sometimes strange requests. We don’t eat carbs, I know, I could live on rice and beans with chips but they aren’t on the menu for me anymore for health reasons. Joe graciously chopped up a platter of veggies at our request to serve as substitute chips. I would not hesitate to go back whenever I’m in the area.

I honestly don’t know how this place is still open. When I went there, nearly all of the lights were off- including in the kitchen. There was only one person in the restaurant, and he both took my order and made the food.
My order took about an hour to be done which was upsetting but I tried to be patient because there was only the one person there. However, the meat was literally rancid. You could tell by look and smell- but I even tasted it just because I thought I was overthinking it and perhaps it was a seasoning or something making it seem like it was rancid.
Nope!! It definitely was beyond a doubt. I don’t know how anyone could serve someone that and not notice. Disgusting! This place should honestly be shut down.

I have to say the service was absolutely amazing. There was only one guy there and he did his absolute best to cook and everything. I will never eat the food that comes out of this restaurant ever again.
The food was not good, I had a wet burrito and there was literally water with a weird taste all over the plate. The people I was with got a few different items and at the end of the meal we agreed we would not be returning.
The meal did not set well on my stomach and I did not feel the greatest until the following day. I have been there twice in the last few weeks and both times the food was okay at best… I don’t like to give local businesses bad reviews however I feel this one warrants one.
I do not recommend going here with people that might need tables as most of their seating is booths.

I recently had dinner here for the first time. I was absolutely taken by the owners attention to detail. Remembering favorite plates of my dinner companion and even remembered that Jessy doesnt like ice in her soft drink. The food was absolutely delicious. I was surprised also at the prices being very reasonable. Especially in the face of things lately. I’ll be back Jose. A beautiful place and very cozy to escape to.

On the one hand I feel bad rating this place when we didn’t technically eat there. On the other hand, reading these reviews, perhaps we dodged a bullet. We arrived an hour and a half before close and despite the sign out front saying they were open to dine in, we walked in and the lights in the kitchen were off. A man came out and apologized and said he only had take out tonight. Also, there was a very strong smell of natural gas on entry. If it had been my restaurant I’d have been calling the fire department for fear of a gas leak.

I have a soft spot for this restaurant. The food is great, the portions are large, and the price is reasonable. The owner takes the order cooks it and brings it out. Expect a wait even if you are the only table there.

The thermometer read 47° when we went in there… I knew this wasn’t going to be a good experience. It wasn’t. I got a three taco dinner. The last beef taco was so bad that I could not eat it. I took one bite it was so terrible. I left it. The fajitas were terrible. No hook up to sink in men’s room. We will never go back there again. Big mistake.

Don’t do it. The guy was cool so I paid him but otherwise I got scammed. Everything microwaved here don’t be fooled. Ordered authentic mexican style tacos and got rancid tasteing ground beef with onions. Looked like a sloppy Joe in a tortilla. Boss ordered chicken tacos because they guy said he wouldn’t cook steak and started puking before we drove off saying he had nasty taste in his mouth and felt bad. Was charged around $15 a plate and will never be returning. Place should be shut down honestly would no star if I could.

Salsa too sweet. Shrimp in garlic very different from any I’ve ever had. They were butterflied and fried until they were tough as shoe leather, stringy and no garlic flavor. The rice was okay, and the pico was very good. Guacamole was so-so. We were the only 2 people in the restaurant and it took almost 1/2 hour to get our food. Son was not impressed with his wet burrito either.
