She was born in 1873 in Burgundy, France, and became one of the leading female writers of her time. Colette is best known for her novel “Gigi,” which was published in 1944 and was later adapted into a successful play and film. Throughout her career, Colette explored themes of sexuality, femininity, and relationships, and her writing style was known for its vivid descriptions, frankness, and sensitivity. In addition to her literary work, Colette was also a performer, appearing in cabarets and music halls. She was a trailblazer for women in French literature and continues to be celebrated for her contributions

We came across the fun and interesting Roof Top Bar that had a great view and relaxed atmosphere. I was impressed by the craft cocktail drinks and the waiter was a great host.
The waiter was very knowledgeable in the mixology of making cocktails drinks, which made our evening more memorable and fun.
This Roof Too Bar made for a great date night.

Horrible service. We asked for 3 different drinks and the bartender couldn’t make any of them because they had no ingredients to make them so we settled on the only cocktail he could make. Bartender was also rude.

Outdoor dinning in Texas Heat is a little brutal. The vibe, atmosphere is phenomenal and sunset was spectacular. Best thing I had was the cauliflower. Limited menu on a Saturday night was a bit of a bummer. Pretty cool outdoor kitchen setting and the chef offers great hospitality. Walked around making sure everything was okay and greeting guests.

Had a wonderful dinner experience here, while visiting San Antonio with my husband. From the views, to the cleanliness, to the hospitality and the entire setting. We took the stairs and enjoyed the art going up.
Now, the food… absolutely delicious. We started with the Ribeye Croncantes that was on the cocktail menu. Followed up with a salmon sushi roll (cannot remember the name of the dish), and the Taco Lust. Every plate was beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. The waitress was welcoming, attentive and friendly. Steve‐ the manager also, checked on us a couple of times.
The open outdoor kitchen was impressive. We could taste the commitment, love and passion in every plate.
This will definitely be a place we will return to in future SA trips and we are grateful it was part of our memorable weekend. ♡

The idea is cute, the execution not so much. To not be so busy, the amount of time it took to get water, our drinks, and the food was annoying. Especially for very limited seating outside. I could understand if we had a large table, but 2 people, I don’t get. The menu sounded really good, but it wasn’t the best. Would I eat here again, probably not. But I love the atmosphere of the rooftop bar. I love coming to Paramour in general because of the vibe it produces.

We were the only two people there it was 7pm the waitress had to do a costume change. We never got our water till we left. The cabbage was tough. The Tacos were cold and the meat was horrible. Menu was extremely limited it was recommended we order one item off every stage. Glad we did not make that mistake. We were still hungry and had to go to Cootys where the food is always good and the drinks are cheap. I would spend my money else where on the river walk like Acenar.

The staff were exceptional (experts, friendly, helpful and professional – a great combination of the right stuff). The bar staff took great pride in crafting tasty mixed drinks. The food prepared was perfectly cooked and seasoned (well done Chef), delicious, however, several food choices on the menu were not available and were the preferred by the group. Additionally, the on-line menu was not the same as what was available in-house, so that caused confusion. Lastly, it took four trips to the wine cellar to get a bottle of wine, the first bottle was bad and the following 2 selections (although on the menu) were not available. Overall the stars are a reflection of lack of food and wine options – everything else was 5 star.

I went to Colette for a Saturday night dinner with a friend and couldn’t have been more disappointed. While the atmosphere was impeccable and the service was decent (shoutout to Anibal for being amazing), the food and drinks were beyond disappointing.
We ordered the gold flaked ribeye and the cod. The steak was served cold and didn’t have the gold flakes as mentioned. The cod was also severely overcooked.
More than half of the menu wasn’t available as they had a “new chef” (???) and the drinks were extremely watered down. I’m not a fan of sending things back, but we sent those babies back to the bar that they came from.
I’d typically chalk an experience like this up to it being a newer restaurant, but this was just unacceptable.

This restaurant is so bad I want to give it a zero but, that’s not possible so I give it a one. Everything on the menu is expensive and mid quality. The portions are for a child, but if by chance you need a to go box, they’ll claim they don’t have any unless you’re a white person.
Besides their service and attitudes, the kitchen was incredibly slow. I got the order of the fried Mexican red rice over an hour after I placed the order. Mind you, there were plenty of empty tables and no one was coming to the restaurant (rightfully so)
Please pick anything other than this restaurant to dine at and spend your money.
