Ordered a cake for my sister in law’s birthday and when I came to pick it up, they had not reserved it at all and had sold out that type of cake, except for one that was falling apart, with the frosting all crushed and graham crackers falling all over the place. It’s also tilted. The website offered the option to add a message on the cake but once at the store, they told us they didn’t do that. Employees were unhelpful teenagers who had zero customer service experience and said they couldn’t help because “the cake people had already left” (mid day), so they only knew how to scoop ice cream. Had no option but to take it like that and fix the cake myself, add whipped cream and strawberries to hide the mess and try to make the best of the day.

Ordered via Doordash a medium (love it!) size cup of cake batter ganache ice cream with Reeses peanut butter sauce. The pictures are exactly as it appeared when I took it out of the bag. Chocolate ice cream with Reeses peanut butter cup pieces. Exactly 9 teaspoons worth. Does this look like $10.50 worth of ice cream? Thats $1.16 per teaspoon. This is pathetic. I got my money back from Doordash but that’s not the point. Trained monkeys could do a better job. Actually, UNtrained monkeys could do a better job. Well, it won’t happen again because I’m cutting my losses and never ordering anything from Cold Stone Creamery in Dover, Delaware again.

The attitude that I got at this location was completely ridiculous and uncalled for. Just moved to the area so this is my first time at this location, and the cashier was so rude like even to the point where she rolled her eyes simply because she misheard what I said. It’s okay that she misheard, but don’t be disrespectful over a mistake, then she still didn’t give me what I wanted and I just settled for it so that I could get out of there quick. Tighten up on customer service, 2 stars only because the icecream was good.

Had a mis-made order (birthday cake remix but they made it with cheesecake ice cream ). Called to try and get it resolved, and the person who answered said, “What do you want me to do about it?” They also tried to blame the delivery driver… It was an ice cream made with the wrong base and was AWFUL! Called multiple times the next day to speak with a manager, and both our numbers were ignored. Called from a different number, they picked up, and I asked to speak to a manager where I was then hung up on. Filed a complaint with corporate, and weeks later, I am still waiting on a resolution for an ice cream that was mis-made. We used to support and love cold stone, but now I don’t think we’ll ever be back. It shouldn’t be this difficult to get a resolution for their mistake on $20 container of ice cream….

Truly dissatisfied. Website says they close at 10. The door has stickers they close at 10. I had come here during the Super Bowl at 9:25, door locked, 3 employees inside and lights on. They just gave a hand gesture of no and I pointed to the sticker and double checked the time. I understand cleaning up early but 35 minutes early is unnecessary. It’s just very unfortunate the worker’s don’t want to perform their jobs till the time they are finished. Lost business.

Worst customer service experience ever employees literally throw my order on the counter and didn’t even have the modesty to say thank you or good night apparently this employees were in a bad mood since we went through the door you could see their expression on this 2 young ladies faces saying ughh!! another customer, also wafer’s cones was broken due to the mishandling of the bag for what I paid $17.96 pretty disappointed ppl like this should not be working with customer service.

Ice cream is so delicious and there are so many fun flavor combinations to choose from. Great customer service. Everyone was very polite and worked quickly. They were even patient with my kids choosing their toppings.
