This Cold Stone is located inside the same building as Basketball Hall of Fame. Easy access to the store after a tour.
The staff were friendly and nice. The ice cream flavors were standard like all other locations. I saw lots ice cream cakes ready to be picked up. It’s probably a popular spot for the locals.
Not many tables inside. It’s good for a good afternoon pickle up and short rest.

This Coldstone store is located next to the Basketball hall of fame. Bug place, lots of tables to sit. They had over 20 flavors of ice cream available. There were also shakes and smoothies. They had ice cream cakes in the fridge and bunch of sodas as well. They had birthday candles as well.
There was no line in front of us. An associate helped us right away. We got the kid’s cup of vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. The price was decent. The ice cream had wonderful taste, no icy parts in the middle.
I wish the store was little bit brighter and vibrant. The floor looked so outdated. They were also cleaning the ceiling fan, as we were eating our ice cream nearby.

My girlfriend placed a mobile order at 9:32 PM, with a quoted ready time of 9:52 PM. We arrived and waited in the mobile pickup area with approximately seven other people who were also waiting for online orders.
While waiting, the employee at the register did not address the mobile pickup line as a group. He only spoke to one woman standing in the pickup line and asked her what she was waiting for. No one else standing there—including the rest of the mobile pickup customers—was acknowledged.
At approximately 9:55 PM, I walked up to the register and asked if our mobile order was ready. I received a blank stare and was told they were “working on it.”
We continued waiting. Walk-in customers who ordered at the counter were served and left while mobile orders were still not called out.
At approximately 10:15 PM, we were finally asked what we were waiting for. The employee then went to the back fridge and retrieved a bagged order. That was the first time our order was produced, despite us waiting well past the quoted pickup time and having already checked in earlier.
Mobile orders were clearly not being monitored or managed. Customers were only helped when they repeatedly approached the counter. At this location, mobile ordering is ineffective—you’re better off standing in line and ordering in person, because otherwise your order may sit in the fridge until someone asks about it

I overall give this location a 4 but if I were to base my last 2-3 encounters off of one employee, they would definitely get 2 stars. My ice cream is never mixed in when he does it, he bypasses what I ask for (instead of milk chocolate he gives white chocolate chips) like bro I NEVER said that. Instead of banana ice cream he adds a banana that wasn’t even mixed need I remind you! IF I decide to go back, & I see him there i’m simply walking out. He hates his job

Shout out to Dimitri at store #1172! We called with an issue with our DoorDash order (they stole it, and we never received it.) although He had nothing to do with the delivery service he took it upon himself to make things right, and for that, as a restaurant store manager myself, MUCH RESPECT. Dimitri wonderful staff who made our experience an amazing one when we went in person. We can’t thank you enough, our ice creams were so delicious!

Great icecream! Located at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield Massachusetts. If you looking for a treat, this is a great place to start! Plenty of choices from their menu, or you can create your own combination!! Whether you have it in one of their 3 sizes of cups or a cone or a cone bowl which can also be chocolate dipped or plain, you won’t be disappointed. Check it out!!

Depending on the day/time, I’d suggest ordering online using the Cold Stone App. When you arrive, go to the cashier and let them know you have an online pickup order. If you wait in the line that says online order pickup, you tend to be ignored.

Ice cream is consistently high quality and well done (flavorful, creamy, sundaes are well made and mixed, etc.), being a mix between hard ice cream and soft serve (12-14% butterfat). The biggest downside here is pricing, as others have expressed. It will run you ~$10 pp here which is a premium over local shops where you can find more unique flavors and even higher quality. For a chain, and assuming price isn’t a major factor, you can depend on Coldstone to provide consistent quality.
Note: pictured is one of their new seasonal flavors, Brown Sugar, which was very flavorful and is worth trying. They let you sample whatever you’d like before ordering so definitely try some flavors before committing. Unfortunately this cannot be said of every ice cream place.

This place sucks and needs new management! It used to be great! Last couple time i took my kids there was horrible! Workers are confused, rude, giving wrong orders to customers and looking at you like you’re an alien when giving orders!!!

I would like to recognize Dimitri , David and ?Chichi for their amazing service. Dimitri and David took my last min cake order yday when I was in a pinch and no other shop would help me for my kids birthday, they came as an angel and with smiles they took my order and made it happen ! That’s the caliber of service they provide. THANK YOU ! This gesture meant a lot for me and my boys today, you made their day by helping me last night. Way to go team ! Your management is lucky to have you guys !
