The food and service were good. We thought the Tomato Red Pepper Soup had an unusual seasoning that we couldn’t quite place. We had BLT and Club sandwiches. I found the bacon to be too limp to my taste. The restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly. The bathroom was clean. Parking was easy.

Order at counter. We are about 10 and they were almost sold out of all pastries so if you want those get here earlier. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. Food was delicious, came in a timely manor. Coffee was delicious. Seating was comfy. I have a wider body and am short, felt comfy. Not a lot of space between seats but is wheelchair accessible. Not loud, could hear our conversation at the table.

We had a great start to our day with a good breakfast at Coho Cafe. They have really good coffee and we got French toast and chicken and wild rice biscuits and gravy. A very nice atmosphere inside and the staff was very nice.

The food and service were amazing! We stopped for dinner and got a table right away. Service was speedy, and our food came out piping hot! The chicken parmesan was delicious, and my mom said the walleye was some of the best she’s ever had!

We’ve been to Coho Cafe many times for lunch as we typically love the food. I got the club and my parter got the chicken sandwich. We both upgraded to tomato soup that came in a very small cup for $4… The food tasted okay but the restaurant was incredibly dirty. None of the tables were level, with napkins or sugar packets underneath the legs in attempt to balance them. The surface of the tables were also dirty as no one was cleaning them after customers. The bathroom garbages were overflowing onto the floor. The main garbage was filthy as customers bus their own dishes. And the main floor was filthy. There were three employees standing on their phones behind the counter during the hour we were there. We were very turned off by the state of the restaurant. Cleanliness goes a long way.

Stopped here for supper before entering the BWCA. Definitely more our vibe than the restaurant right before it on the lake pizza was great, BLT was large and delicious and the kids had the Mac and cheese and liked it.

This breakfast cafe was a gem! The bakery items were fresh and delicious, and the large coffees were exactly what we needed before our day of hiking. Breakfast was flavorful, satisfying, and packed with protein — perfect fuel for the day. Great atmosphere and friendly service too!

The food was inedible, we had eggs Benedict and the eggs weren’t cooked enough, the English muffin wasn’t even toasted and the lettuce was so old we didn’t eat it for fear of food poisoning. We also had the Northern omelet and it was over cooked and the hash browns were under cooked, cold and tasted terrible. The only good meal in our group was an egg sandwich on a bagel. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

It isn’t the same Coho from the last time I was there. Ordering at the counter and never talking to the server again kind of sucks when they ask for a tip when ordering. It’s about the same type of service as McDonald’s, at least come back over and ask how my food is.
It use to feel like a Cafe now it feels like a corporate resort cafeteria.
The pizza is not the pizza it use to be either, I doubt this pizza won awards, the old Coho, yes that was great pizza.
I just felt let down after leaving. Might as well just put a kiosk inside.
I will probably never step in there again.
I am giving 3 starts because the pizza did taste good, not worth a 5 hour drive.
