This is a campus café that offers baked goods, coffee, beer, cocktails, and some food options. It’s a fun, relaxed spot with plenty of seating where you can chill, work, eat, or just hang out.

The coffee was really good. I ordered an iced mocha, and I’m usually quite picky about iced mochas, but this one was excellent. The coffee itself was strong, and the balance of sweetness and milk was just right—I really enjoyed it.

I also tried a slice of banana muffin. It was fine, nothing extraordinary, but decent. Overall, it’s a great place if you’re on campus and looking for a comfortable spot with good coffee and a laid-back vibe. Definitely recommended.

Changing review. Good coffee but the bakery items are too expensive, many exceeding $5. They should keep their prices more constant in a community that is serving students who often don’t have much money to spare. Would like to see them lower their prices by 5-10% and help students.

What a delicious Butternut Squash Salad I enjoyed in the outdoor patio amongst the students. The ingredients were fresh; the dressing amount was just right complimenting the salad. They give you a hardy serving. I also picked up one of their Ube cookies, the purple is beautiful, I don’t want to touch it.

We came to this place to have a lunch on a sunday afternoon. The place has cozy sits inside, as well as tables outside.

We ordered chorizo empaladas and ham panini. We totally paid around 25 usd. The food came fast and was served on real plates, which is always a pleasure, no plastic waste. However, empaladas turned out to be with chicken so we had to ask for a change.

Panini was good, also served with a small salad. I did not like the taste of empaladas much, but it was my first time trying them, not sure how they should taste.

Overall this is a nice place, very atmospheric interior, full of students. Can definately recommend visiting it.

Stanford’s very own cafe which is very popular with its students. Come here if you’re in the area and want a place for a bite to eat and soak in some college atmosphere. They have nice loungey sofas and even a piano! You can also sit on the benches outside and the good thing is they serve in actual cutlery instead of plastic containers.

They have an excellent collection of sandwiches, bagels, pastas, risottos and burgers. They also have coffee and tea and hot chocolate etc. I went during lunch time and wasn’t sure if the meat was halal. So I ordered a vegan chilli with quinoa. It was really delicious and spicy ! It tasted like rajma chawal and the chilli had three different types of beans. The portion size was decent but the price was costly for 9$. The cheapest sandwich was around 8.50. I also had a small cappuccino which cost me around 4.50$ but was not very strong. For the price it should have been more robust.

Service was friendly and quick.

Update: the mushroom burger was not good, but the mushroom sandwich was tasty. Wish they gave fries on the side apart from the salad. The pasta with vegetables was kind of bland. The hot chocolate was that Swiss mix version. The raspberry and custard croissant was delicious.

The tomato soup and cheese toasts and great. They have a wide variety of salads too. The chicken risotto is my favorite. Great place to hang out with friends, but gets a bit noisy to study/ read.

Student cafe/deli with sandwiches, coffee, and pastries. I didn’t see any gluten free pastries, but another reviewer had photos of them, so many I got lucky. I was a bit disappointed the gluten free bread had a +2$ charge, but when it came out there were two sandwiches (maybe because the bread was small), which made up for it. Sandwich was good, atmosphere was good, very student-filled.
I’d go back again to see if they had gf pastries.

Nice cozy atmosphere, relatively fast service, good quality food. They have large TVs and WiFi. Can sit inside or outside. Crowd is mostly students. There is live music on most nights.
No restroom inside but there is one nearby at food court.

Decent salads. Decent pastries. Decent sandwiches. Decent service. Overall decent. One reviewer said there are no vegan or vegetarian options. Non sense. Everything I had was either vegan or vegetarian with a pretty good option to modify the vegan. To the reviewer who said rheee are no in premises bathroom. Non sense. It’s the student union. There are bathrooms. I know. I used it.

A quaint, active location on campus. There are fresh pastries, a variety of drink options including coffee and teas, and a good selection of seats. The donuts are very good, and the Havana latte is a must for coffee-drinkers. It has hints of cinnamon, and a smooth taste. The ordering takes a max of 10 minutes, even when ordering multiple food options which is nice if you don’t have a ton of time.

Being that this is not the caliber of a global chain, your drinks may differ in quality over different visits, but that doesn’t fully ruin the experience, if anything it adds character.

There is a Starbucks location right next door, but what makes this location attractive when that is so close is the prices, and the atmosphere. Starbucks feels corporate and sterile, and this place feels like a coffee shop should. Relaxed, open and friendly.

I would return, especially to try the food options, and the live Jazz which happens on occasion.
