We had a great server here, she was polite and had a pretty smile, kept our drinks filled. The food was very good but the Strawberry-rhubarb pie was awesome.

What a little gem!! We had the Philly Cheesesteak (great flavour, fresh bun), and the soup and salad bar with beer & cheddar soup and a good variety including fresh berries on the salad bar. Finished off with a steaming, a delicious cup of coffee and the chocolate cream pie. SOOOOOO good. Service was also great and very friendly.

We were disappointed. We waited 50 minutes for eggs and French toast and a waffle. Then when we got our food the waffles were cold and the omelette was bland. Our waitress did everything she could to make our hour-long wait better, but when a place is poorly run with sub-par food, there’s no making up for it. Too bad, we support small town, small businesses. But when you feel ripped off, it makes it hard.

Horrible service, not greeted at the door, server woman didn’t say hello, she walks up to the table, what do you want to drink, she never once checked up on our party, never refilled our drinks, never once asked us how our food was and was too worried about filling the refrigerator instead of consideration for the customer. We were 1 of 2 tables in the establishment so she can’t say she was busy! Absolute worst service I’ve ever came across, kid has a lot of growing up to do if she wants to make it in the server industry! No tip!

The food here is decent. Waitress was pleasant. Though it would be nice to have fries or tater-tots (my wife’s thought). I don’t understand the concept of a seasonal salad bar. As an individual with specific dietary requirements, this eliminates one option to get me to come back in.

Our family of 5 stopped here on a road trip after seeing the center of
America marker. Coming from Georgia, we figured this would be a nice place to grab a bite to eat before exploring the rest of North Dakota and all its beauty. The BLT which I had was delicious, and we also had some delicious authentic North Dakotan tacos complete with salsa sauce. The lady here whose name I dont remember was very friendly and genuine, and the atmosphere was very relaxed and homey feeling. Great place, would recommend if you find yourself in North-central ND!

We just moved to the area and before I arrived my husband was setting up the farm, and he came here for breakfast on occasion. He was quite impressed, so I gave it try when I was in town. We were both disappointed. I had asked for my eggs to be scrambled with milk, which I have done in many restaurants across this country with no problems. The waitress was puzzled by this request and said she would ask the cook. She never came back to let me know the cook refused or not…she just brought the food. The eggs had no milk or cream in them, which makes them light and fluffy, they were hard and overcooked. The toast was burnt on one side. I value my money and time. This was not worth either. They can’t blame it on being busy. It was lunch and the place was empty. We will not be eating there again.

Ahhh smell the aroma of pancakes, and coffee when you first walk in the door. Comfort food at its finest. We had breakfast which was perfect. They have fresh baked pies and goodies too. Cozy atmosphere, good food, cheerful service and reasonable prices. Love
