We stopped here to charge a car and I was really upset because I thought it would be an awful place but there’s no reason for the food to be this good. Look at the photos it doesn’t even do it justice. The people here are nice. The food is delicious and it’s not $1000. I would come here every time we drive down to Bryce or to Vegas. Kami he is excellent make sure you get her.

Cody’s Castro Garage is exactly what you’d expect from a typical small-town diner, with a fun and creative ambiance. The decorations definitely add to the experience! The food was decent, though not particularly impressive—pretty much what you’d expect from a local spot like this. One unique item they have on the menu is a giant cinnamon roll, which looked amazing. However, you have to order it 24 hours in advance because they don’t have an oven on site, so it’s really only for locals who plan ahead.

The prices are surprisingly good for the portion sizes. For our family of five, we spent about $40, including tip, which was a great value.

The standout reason I’m giving this place five stars is because of the outstanding service from our server, Randi. She was incredibly friendly and attentive. After taking our order, she brought out fruit cups for two of our kids, but then brought an extra one for our baby without us even asking. She noticed that he was hungry and just took care of it on her own. That level of attention to detail really made our visit memorable.

Plus, the restaurant has Tesla charging stations all around, which was a big reason we stopped here during our road trip. Definitely a great stop for anyone passing through Nephi!

I really wanted to like this place but it was disappointing in a number of ways. There were “secret” menus that I found out about after I ordered my food. One menu called “Locals Only” was tucked behind other table signage and another one was called “Ten Minute Tesla Menu” that was sitting on the counter where you pay after your meal. Either of these menus would have been preferable to the “Lunch Menu” that was provided at 8:00 pm. My chicken strips and fries looked and tasted like it was out of the hot case at a grocery store or gas station. The menu said they came either grilled or fried and had 4 different dipping sauce options. Server didn’t ask how I wanted them, but fried is what arrived at the table with two sauces I couldn’t immediately identify. I asked if there were other sauces available and if I could please have ketchup for the fries. My meal came with a salad that was piled high and served on a flat plastic plate that was impossible to not spill all over the table. The tomatoes were plentiful and diced so fine, like confetti. When I noticed the Locals Only menu, the server said that she should have mentioned it because it’s available to anyone, not just locals…but of course by then it was too late. My friend had a dry burger that came with no sauce, no mustard; just a small cup of ketchup on the side. Such a strange little place with mediocre food, in an auto shop-themed building – which was cute but then cloth napkins and a hidden beer/wine menu and and Tesla charging stations on both sides of the building. Our server was sweet but not very knowledgeable. I won’t be going back.

Excellent restaurant, and a great addition to town! Fresh ingredients , including real gorgonzola cheese and bacon, plus killer onion rings. The fries had great texture and the house made ranch was unreal. We found ourselves dancing to the music and enjoying such a unique environment. We will be back for sure.

My wife and I stopped in on our way down to Centerfield. Everything was wonderful! Both the Cody’s Classic and the Hellcat Jalepaneo were flavorful and well satisfying. The fries were cooked to perfection and served in a nice little basket on the burger tray. They serve coke products and have an awesome raspberry lemonade. To top it off we were served a fantastic cookie skillet! Highly recommend.

I read so many glowing reviews that I was excited to try this place on our way to California off I-15. I must have chosen the wrong thing because it was absolutely disgusting. I even told our server. All she said was she was sorry. Chicken breast slathered in some gross raspberry sauce and canned green beans! Maybe this is how true utahns eat but if you’re looking for something less weird there are always the fast food stops around. Cody’s should have taken it off the bill but I had to pay. At least they replaced the green beans with steamed broccoli. My boyfriend had a sandwich he said was fine. Fries were edible but coated. Good french fries don’t need to be battered.
Here’s another thing that didn’t escape me, they have multiple rows of brand new charging stations outside for EVs yet inside not a single outlet to charge your devices while you wait for your car.

I stopped here on my way back from a road trip with my kids, thinking it was still the JC Mickelson, but it still turned out great. The inside is a fun and inviting car and mechanic atmosphere. The staff is so so nice and made regular conversation with my kids. My 8 yr old rated their chicken strips (more like popcorn chicken) “the best I’ve ever had”, haha. I ordered the clam chowder with an extra garlic bread. Good thing I did because that garlic bread was delicious and my 8 yr old ate my extra piece! The clam chowder had great flavor and was thick and creamy…I hate the watered down stuff. I absolutely plan to go back, even though it’s a 2 hour drive from where I live. It’s a perfect ‘got no plans and no place to go’ kinda drive for lunch or dinner.

Today I pulled in there around noon. At first – nice idea, EV-charging friendly menu, accommodating staff. I even found a vegan option in the menu.
I open my takeaway box on the next stop and… broccoli is covered in mould? I really hope not to get food poisoning. I think some food safety and quality process is seriously missing.

This place was amazing. I’ve ate there 2 days in a row now and driven from out of town to do it. I will definitely be going back.
The food is amazing. The waitresses both days were so cute and sweet and I just loved them.
Yesterday I had the carne asada quesadilla. Today we shared carne asada fries and I got the chicken cordon bleu sandwich with fried chicken breast. My grand daughter loved the chicken tenders.

This is a fantastic little restaurant! We were there Sunday May 4th for a late ish breakfast. The wait staff was eager to please and did a wonderful job. Our food came in an acceptable time and what a treat it was. The waffles were so delicious! The chicken fried steak was perfect and the gravy was really good. Had a biscuit with gravy on the side. The biscuit was.. well it wasn’t on the same level as the rest of the meal but okay.
