Been coming to Sea Isle since I was a young kid and have walked pass this place hundreds of times and always meant to try it but would run out of time. So this year we made sure to grab dinner here and it was amazing. It’s a quaint restaurant with about 10-11 tables so make a reservation if you can or get in early as they fill up fast. From the hostess that greeted us to the waitress’s everyone was warm, welcoming and kind. Food was amazing, We started with the mozzarella sticks with house marinara. They were lightly breaded packed with motz and the sauce was a nice fresh balance of sweet and tangy. With the meals you get warm bread with a house dipping sauce that was unique but very good. It had fresh herbs, mushrooms, oil and what tasted like balsamic in it. Then the house salads were fresh and the dressing was a creamy Italian. Finally the food and WOW portions were huge. My wife got the fresh spaghetti with meatballs. It came in a massive bowl with 4 meatballs each one the size of a scoop of ice cream. The pasta was fresh, and the sauce was yummy. I had the chilean sea bass with saffron gnocchi and topped with a citrus salsa. And it was Perfect. The balance of sweet butter fish cooked perfectly to the pillowy gnocchi and the acidic citrus salsa was to die for. So if you’re at the shore check this place out and we will be back!!!

Simple the best homemade Italian in the area let alone Sea Isle. Since Covid they have downsized their dining room so make a reservation in advance. You can do that by texting them.

The food was amazing, I got the spaghetti and it was homemade. The sauce was a bit thicker than I liked, but overall it was very good. The service was very nice it wasn’t very busy when I went so they were pretty quick. The atmosphere was very friendly the people at the restaurant seemed to know some of the people that come more often and it was a very calm environment. I would highly recommend this place

If you haven’t eaten at Basilicos in Sea Isle, New Jersey yet, you should go there for dinner. They have a wonder selection of Italian food and they provide large, delicious portions. Another benefit to dining there is it’s a BYOB restaurant.
