We stopped in while visiting family in the area. The place was quiet with plenty of seating as it was between lunch and dinner hours.
We were a party of three and ordered a variety of meals. We ordered the Ahi Tuna which was delicious and perfectly cooked. We also ordered the Crab Cakes which was also delicious and the sauce added to the flavor of the Cakes. The Cod sandwich was okay, but the portion size needs be increased.
The waitresses were excellent and provided a great customer experience. The atmosphere of restaurant was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience.

My son and I were there for lunch. We ordered alot of food. Bang bang shrimp were amazing. Best onion rings ever. The cod was perfect, the big platter was omg . Shelby was the best server I think I ever had. This place is beyond amazing . I was in the restaurant industry for 15 years. They got it going on. Great back of house and service to the 9’s. Thank you.

First time visiting and will be back. Food was delicious and service was just as amazing. Mia was our server. Very friendly and attentive. Shrimp had a light batter so you actually tasted shrimp. Very good. Blackened cod was excellent. Salmon was good as well.

First timers will be repeat customers! Delicious food . Full after eating appetizers. Husband order beer battered cod, hush puppies, loaded potato, and cheese grits. We loved those creamy grits. I ate the blackened snapper, broccoli, and slaw the next day. Mia our server, was friendly, courteous, and informative. Excellent experience

First visit on their 5th day open- started with Bang Bang Shrimp with their homemade dipping sauce……which I could eat till I popped if there were enough!
Next was the codfish with hush puppy and veggies for sides. The batter is really unique, smooth textured with almost a funnel cake kick, and again with homemade tartar sauce-

This new gem in downtown Alachua just hits the spot! The ambience is great and the food is even better – with some of the freshest fish and seafood I have had in ages. The Codfather portions are big and the food is delicious. With the live entertainment, awesome cocktails and friendly waitstaff, this place checks all the boxes! Definitely a new family favorite

Dogs are allowed!! There is an outdoor patio seating where you can dine with your pet. Cod Fish was light and flaky with a sweet cornbread batter to it. Hash puppies were light and flaky and non-greasy. Baked potato was perfectly baked with all the fixings. Mac and cheese was delicious. Cod Fish sandwich was a large piece of fish, between very soft buns, with lettuce, tomatoe and onion. Reasonably priced, dinner for two under $40. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a new place and this popped up for us… so, we hit it up for an early dinner on a Friday. The service was on point, and the food was delicious. I had the Codfather dinner with waffle fries and onion rings and my wife had the Bang Bang shrimp. I thoroughly enjoyed the tempura batter on my onion rings and the fish was cooked well. The Bang Bang sauce was a bit on the sweet side(I expected a lil’ heat) but not bad. My only issue was the table was wet from being wiped down(yucky bucket water). I’d definitely recommend you give this place a try!

Great new seafood restaurant pub for the town of Alachua. I had the Jumbo Shrimp with bang bang sauce . Shrimp where definitely large and tasty even without the great bang bang sauce. My friend had the Ahi tuna cooked to perfection. The bang bang shrimp appetizer looked big enough for a meal. They also had decent live music band to listen to definitely a plus.
