Went for restaurant week and enjoyed the food! The hazelnut sauce with the pork was incredible, and the octopus flatbread was 10/10. All desserts hit. My favorite was the lemon ricotta fritelle. Staff were very kind and attentive to allergies and dietary restrictions. Shoutout to Louis and Jesús who made us feel welcome. Give CDV a try!

Coda di Volpe delivered an excellent experience. The service was outstanding—while celebrating the purchase of our new home, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary bottle of wine after ordering one, which was a thoughtful and generous touch. The food was very good, especially the cacio e pepe pasta, which was amazing, and the chocolate dessert was absolutely unforgettable. The ambiance was warm and inviting. Highly recommend.

My daughter chose this restaurant for us to celebrate my belated birthday. Despite having 8:45p reservations, our table was not ready and we waited and additional 20 minutes. Management graciously offered a glass of bubbles for the inconvenience.

Our server was fantastic. She was friendly and efficient. The mocktail selection was creative which I appreciated. More than juice, soda, and a garnish.

We opted for the salami and cheese board. We were underwhelmed with the selection of cheeses. They all seemed very similar. It would have been nice for the person delivering it to explain what was what on the board.

We had hoped to try the Tartufo Pizza but they were out so we went with the Margherita and added fennel sausage. Great flavor but I wish the crust was just the tiniest bit crispier. Unfortunately I don’t remember the pasta we shared, but it had well-balanced flavor with a touch of heat to it.

Dessert was fine but I had hoped to have been a bit more impressed by it. It was a good meal overall, but a few misses here and there prevents a full five-star review.

In our search for the best neopolitan style pizza in Chicago, Coda di Volpe is certainly a hit. My partner really enjoyed her gluten free focaccia style pizza and my margherita with sausage was equally delicious. Fantastic crust!

Surprisingly classy and upscale ambiance. Our server was decent but the restaurant was busy on a Saturday night and our drinks sat empty for quite a while. Their pastas looked delicious and warrant another visit!

It was a gorgeous day outside so I decided to sit on the patio. A great call but sitting right next to the plants felt a little tight. However the nice weather and service made up for that in spades. I love a place that gives you a big pitcher of water so that was appreciated. By law I have to try the octopus if I’m in a city near a body of water so I started there and it was cooked perfected. Just the right amount of tender and the charring gave it a nice texture. For my main dish I got the spicy pasta with crab. It was the right portion for a hungry person but not too filling. I didn’t find it particularly spicy but the pepper flakes gave it a good crunch and brought it all together. I finished with the lemon sundae which can be easily shared but it was just me. It wasn’t too rich and I love lemon so the citrus flavor I loved. I cannot recommend this place more.

I extensively researched where to eat near Lakeview East for a group of eight. Our daughter was coming to town from Denver to celebrate her 28th birthday with friends, whom all live in the area. We drove from Cincinnati to meet her.

From the first time I called to make a reservations for a large party to the re-scheduling to the following weekend due to a death in the family, the girl(s) on the phone could not be more professional and accommodating. I was told they would make it work but we might have to sit outside as the 8-top already had a reservation for Oct. 17th. However, when we arrived, we were seated right away at an 8-top inside. Our server, Viridiana, was so great and took very good care of us. As the plethora of drink orders came at her, she was cool as a cucumber and delivered the drinks, and the continuation of drinks throughout the night, with accuracy. She chuckled when I handed her my phone with our entire party’s order and said “This is awesome. Are you in the service industry?” No, we are just foodies with an understanding of how hard it is to take care of a large group, and any little bit helps.

Our pizzas and apps came out quickly, followed by all of the pastas. We took a vote and here were the favorites dishes of the night: The Corn and Truffle Arancini, Fagioli Fritti, Sea Salt Focaccia, Spicy Mafaldine (!!!) Bucatini add meatballs, Rigatoni con Ragu, and all of the pizzas. The only dish we all didn’t love was the Cacio e Pepe.

They gave us a complimentary large Lemon Sundae for the birthday! That was a perfect bite for us all to share to end the evening. I will recommend Coda Di Volpe to everyone I know who is going to be in the area, and when we visit again, you will be the first reservation we make. Ciao!

Love this place. Feels like a local neighborhood vibe than tourists eating there which is great because the atmosphere is calm and inviting. Delicious food and cocktail. We were a big fan of the pasta menu. The waiter was really friendly. They also have delicious desserts.

A group of five of us came here for one thing, the Neapolitan za. We ordered a Margherita, a Salsiccia & Soppressata and a Prosciutto E Arugula and they were all delicious. We also had spicy pepperoni focaccia. The focaccia was ok, but I would have been happier with a fourth Neapolitan za. The staff we interacted with were all very friendly and nice. Looking forward to dining here again.

I visited here for the first time for dinner with my Fiancé. Firstly, we had an amazing server, Gabriel, who made our visit a delight. The food was all very good. We had meatballs, (spicy) pepperoni foccaccia and then split a pasta and Margherita pizza. The place is nice with plenty of space to roll out once you’ve ate your weight in delicious food.
