Portions were huge enough. Fell in love with Horchata drink. Busy day with crowd so have to wait for some time to get fresh food.

We stopped by to eat after a hike at Pinnacles national park. It was perfect—the food was delicious, the atmosphere laid-back and chill, and the service was efficient. The food took a while to prepare but that was okay because it was made to order. They brought out my almost 2 year old daughter’s plate first, so she didn’t have to wait as long. That level of attention to detail is what made this restaurant even more memorable.

Feels like going to visit your Mexican aunt’s house. Incredible food in a cute little house.

This was the best asada plate I’ve ever ordered. The small side of french fries that comes with the plate was such a genius idea. Both types of salsa we had were so good, a little spicy if you are sensitive to spice. And the corn tortillas were nice and thick. We will absolutely be going back next time we are there.

Food was good. Authentic and organic feel. Great service and the waitress checked the table and took good care. Veggie fajita is their signature and tostadas was good too. A good visit. Will visit again on way to Monterey to Big Sur.

Finally stopped in to see what all the 5 star rating were all about . 4 pm Tuesday place was empty. I was the only customer, so I sat down and was greeted by Alice she said she would be my server and the cook. OK, she did not speak English, and I know a few words in Spanish, no big deal. First chips and salsa tiny bowl average at best cold unsalted chips. 2 tacos arrived carnitas and Carne asada. Homemade tortillas 3.25 reasonable flavor again average nothing special. Shrimp enchiladas main corse again nothing special Shrimp had no seasonings red sauce very spicy and only on the tortillas loaded up with lots of fresh lettuce onions and cheese. It looks impressive but lacking flavor dry and just spicy .I had to ask for guacamole and again tiny bowl and just average. I left full but underwhelmed, I wanted to give 5 stars, but honestly, I couldn’t do it. The best thing about this place is the prices are very reasonable however the food did not live up to the hype.

Nice selection of breakfast and lunch dishes, tried the Pambaso (well decorated) and Sopes, both were pretty good. Salsa had a small kick to it. Prices were reasonable. Service was good, food arrived very quickly after ordering. Parking on street was fine.

Great authentic Mexican food! Everything was a very reasonable price, and it all tasted amazing. Each dish was cooked and seasoned well, though the portions were huge though, so we couldn’t finish our food.

Amazing place!
This is a restaurant where you can feel like home.
Food is very authentic and veeeeeery tasty. Portions are generous and the host, Carla is a cherry on top.
My glasses got a bit damaged and needed a quick fix. I tried to find a super glue in the store nearby but couldn’t get it there, so I gave it a chance and asked Carla if she had any glue and if it wasn’t a problem, if I could use a drop of it.
She searched every inch of the restaurant and at the end, sent someone to buy it for me, without me even realizing.
She did not want to accept any payment for that glue and gave it to me in case I would still need it later.
That was so, so kind…
Thank you for a delicious lunch and your kindness Carla and for anyone who’s reading this comment – do not hesitate. Just get in and have something delicious ❤️
