Be prepared to dig deep into your wallet; quality comes at a price.
The new bar area looks very nice! However, the pricing on the bourbon pores is excessive. There are 1 ounce prices are similar to full pores in other high-end bars. I understand higher prices on specialty allocated bottles… But shelfers don’t need a an 800% profit margin.
With that being said, I am excited about the restaurant rebranding in 2025!
thoughtful daughter treated me to the most extraordinary dining experience here for my birthday. From start to finish, it was incredible. Easily the best meal I have ever had. We thoroughly savored and enjoyed *everything* we ordered: lobster bisque, Asian salad, crab cakes, tenderloin, lobster, scallops, risotto and grilled asparagus. Even the bread and garlic butter was a cut above. The staff were exceptionally kind and exceedingly gracious,, with special recognition to Tracy and Gus. The tuxedo cream brûlée dessert they brought out to cap off my birthday celebration was amazing. Thank you Coco’s but most of all thank you, Gabrielle. ♥️
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly smiles by the staff and John himself. They even gave us a full tour and detailed rundown of the specials. It’s safe to say, anything you order here is going to be a win.
Now, let’s dive into the food. We kicked things off with the special app—a Panzanella Salad. It’s stone fruit, heirloom tomatoes, pistachios, Rocketbaby baguette, and goat cheese tossed in a red wine vinaigrette, all topped with sliced burrata and fresh pea shoots from Rockstar Microgreens. It was a dream on a plate. I jokingly refer to this dish as my “Foodie Happy Place.”
We also had the Tempura Brussel Sprouts (sans tempura for us since Anne is gluten-free) with Calabrian Chili Honey, American Grana, Duroc Bacon Ends, and Mixed Herbs—delicious!
For the mains, we did what we do best—shared everything so we could taste more! We each started with Coco’s Wedge Salad—a classic done right with bacon, tomato, chives, pickled red onion, and house gorgonzola dressing. Anne went with the Grilled Swordfish topped with Red Pepper Coulis and Strawberry Shishito Relish. Monica chose the Chilean Sea Bass with Vanilla Lemon Beurre Blanc and a Citrus Arugula Salad. I opted for the Chef’s Special—a gorgeous Filet with Valentine Coffee Crust, Rainbow Carrots, Crispy Potatoes, and a Stone Fruit Port Reduction.
And because we’re never too full for sides, we added some Roasted Shishitos and an Exotic Mushroom Risotto to the mix—which could have been a meal on its own!
Dessert was the perfect end to a perfect evening. Anne’s Affogato was light, while my Tiramisu was everything I hoped for and more.
The sauces at Coco’s are nothing short of legendary. And I have to admit—Anne and I were tempted to just drink the Vanilla Lemon Beurre Blanc straight from the bowl. No shame!
In short, this dinner was one for the books. We’ll definitely be back, Coco’s! Keep up the fantastic work—we’re huge fans!
Coco’s Staff keep up the great work. The entire dining experience was amazing. Hope to see you soon.
The service is always great. My husband and I have never had a bad server, and we are never rushed! It is an enjoyable experience.
The drinks are so unique and taste even better. If an alcohol drink sounds weird, you should probably try it. More than likely, it will be delicious!
Highly recommend for a date night, anniversary, celebration, or just to have great food and service, etc. This little gem is near the boardwalk, so the views are spectacular!
Cailey was our server and an absolute delight from the moment she greeted us! She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered us great advice on menu choices she felt would be a great compliment to our beverage choices. I actually went with the house cabernet and it was delicious! My husband couldn’t stop talking about the blue cheese olives in his Martini, they were incredibly fresh and flavorful.
Our Cowboy Ribeye was cooked perfectly and beautifully portioned onto two separate plates for a comfortable way to share our meal! Really nice that the restaurant offers the option to split!!!
The ambiance was perfect and you can’t beat a beautiful sunset right in front of your eyes! We were pleasantly surprised with the entire experience and look forward to requesting Cailey next time! I’m confident everything was seamless and our evening was extra special because of her! A great server is hard to come by, these days!
Thank you, Coco’s and Cailey for treating us to a romantic date night, these toddler parents needed it!!!! Highly recommend!!!
The prices are probably a bit more than some other establishments (in a very nice “date night” way) in town but proportionally appropriate. I definitely will return to give the menu a further look.
