Been here a couple times and my dad a few times. The food is really good. The spaghetti Al poblano is AMAZING. Chicken mole, queso, tacos are all good. The environment is very pretty and colorful. The service has been great. The staff refilled drinks and checked on us through out the meal.

An unmissable spot in Bishop Arts for those who love authentic Mexican food. The flavor of every dish reflects tradition and quality, but the mole and the barbacoa cazuela truly steal the spotlight. The mole is rich, deep, and perfectly balanced, with that homemade touch that transports you straight to Mexico.
The barbacoa cazuela is simply delicious—tender, juicy, and full of flavor, cooked to perfection. You can taste the care in every detail, from the salsas to the tortillas. A restaurant that truly honors Mexican cuisine the way it should be. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I ended up here after exploring the alleyway!
I was so exicted to see on the menu Flautas,I’m from the east coast and they don’t even have them in restaurants where I’m from and they are my absolute favorite(I’m bias). Please, when you go order the red salsa,it’s award wining(literally) such flamboyant flavor profile, and it’s just right.
My girlfriend orders the beef torta, and she said it was one of the best and freshest she’s ever had in a long time. She recommends it.
Now I ordered the Flautas(6). Phenomenal, from the soft fillings that make it so it’s not just one note of meat. It’s a perfect blend of everything. And if you dip it in the red salsa, it’s even BETTER. The Flautas were freshly fried, not oily or too much. They were perfect.
This was by far the best meal I have ever had in Dallas, and it’s only a torta and Flautas. The owner and waiter were so kind, and I just loved the food so much. And I will be back when I visit.
I hope next time after the chat with the owner,I get to try the enchiladas verdes on my next visit.

Authentic Mexican Experience at its best!
Dining at Coco’s Fire & Ice was an unforgettable experience. The warm, vibrant atmosphere immediately made us feel welcome, but what truly set the night apart was the food.
The Chile en Nogada (available only in September) was nothing short of spectacular, a perfect balance of savory, sweet, and creamy flavors. The barbacoa, served with fresh handmade tortillas, was tender and deeply flavorful. To end the evening, we enjoyed the 5 Leches Cake, which was rich, moist, and the perfect sweet finish to an excellent meal.
From start to finish, Coco’s Fire & Ice delivered not just a meal, but a true celebration of Mexican culture and cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience authentic flavors in an inviting setting.

The food is absolutely amazing ! Full of flavor , beautifully presented, and served in génerous portions. Every dish shows authenticity and a real passion for cooking. On top of that, the service is outstanding: the staff is friendly, attentive, and truly makes you feel at home. If you’re looking for a place with excellent food and top-notch service, Cocos is the perfect choice. I’LL definitely be coming back !

Not worth the price and unethical charging practices. I’m sure most people who shop and dine in the Bishop Arts District don’t really pay attention to charges and Coco’s Fire and Ice seems to take advantage of that. Our final bill did not reflect the menu prices of what we ordered. We couldn’t tell, however, because they don’t give you an itemized receipt. Apparently they charge for what most consider complimentary chips and salsa. That’s the only way I can figure how my total ended up being what it was. Again, no itemized receipt to reconcile. Unfortunately, I did not have time to ask for or argue the amount, but the kicker was with the gratuity. My wife, not paying attention, selected the option on their little pad of 20%. Our total, after tax, was $67.50. 20% of that would be $13.50 but somehow the tip was $15.19. Not an astronomical amount that most of the clientele would just ignore but there are people who do watch every penny they spend. Had the food been great, these things might be a little more tolerable, but the food was just ok. We went during non peak hours (after 2 on a weekday) so my expectations were that it wouldn’t be the best and they met that expectation. Having worked in the industry, I know how non peak hours are hard to navigate between freshness, promptness of service etc. I’m always willing to give a place a second chance during peak hours to experience food and service at their best, but I cannot recommend Coco’s Fire and Ice based upon their non transparent billing practices.

Been a couple years since trying out when they first opened. But the food is still good and drinks are very well done. A very intimate eating area. But the service and food were great.the Garnachas are terrific. I could have just got another order of those for my meal!

We stumbled upon this place while walking around for our anniversary, and wow — what an amazing find! The service was fantastic, and the bartender absolutely nailed our drinks — they looked beautiful and tasted even better. The green spaghetti was incredible, definitely the star of the meal! Can’t wait to come back with my friends!
