We tried the tri tip burrito and the deep pit burritos. Delicious! Gumbo soup was very good, bit the onion rings?? OMG! So good! The food was all so good, we got more to go! The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was awesome. Will definitely be coming back!

I had an amazing meal at Coconut Joe’s! Their Hawaiian Burger is one of the best I’ve ever had — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with fresh pineapple and a delicious sauce that brings all the flavors together.
I also tried their Fish and Chips with Clam Chowder, and it did not disappoint. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender inside, the fries were golden and tasty, and the clam chowder was creamy and comforting — the perfect combination.
The staff was friendly, and the laid-back atmosphere made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for great food and good vibes, Coconut Joe’s is definitely worth a visit!

Stopped here for lunch on our drive home to Vegas. The food was awesome! Will definitely be stopping here in the trips home from now on! We had the fish and shrimp combo and the rum shrimp. Everything was fried beautifully, not greasy. The home made tartar sauce was to due for! The staff were friendly and hustled! Had a great experience.

The last time I ate here was 11 years ago, prior to that we frequented this location. The food is still flavorful, and I was not disappointed in the least, however, my son and I did find that we had to order 3 big plates in order to get full (we each weigh 200 lb). The service was top notch, and the ambiance is over the top wonderful (as always).
We had the tri-tip, bbq chicken, and then split a large plate of fish & chips. The fish was about half of what you would get at lengthwise for a similar price, but very delicious. The tri-tip was as good as I remember and waaaaaaaaay more flavorful than Harris BBQ (on Buena Vista). The bbq chicken was delicious, but the drumstick was the size of my index finger, so small compared with 11 years ago, but all chicken seems to be getting smaller and smaller at all restaurants.
Overall, we are happy with the results, and it’s nice to see that a restaurant that weathered COVID and all the price hikes is still making quality food. (We only took off one star for portion size as at $66 for lunch, there are many places that will fill us up…such as Lengthwise).

Wonderful experience in Bakersfield!!!!! We came at 20:15, and they accepted us, evening knowing they are closing at 20:30. The service is super friendly, prices are more than correct, and meal is very very good!!!! Highly recommend!

Had not been here for a long time but it is one of our favorite place to hang out with family and friends. Tha place is still as good and the ambience is as good as ever. The receptionist is so friendy and professionally answered the questions of our family who are new to this place, in no time we got our orders and sitted in a very cozy table. My grandson was so happy and excited with all the displays he sees around the restaurant ,It did not take long when our food was served, professionally presented, warm and ready to eat.The drinks were easy to access. The sevice staff always follow up on our needs with a smile. A very wonderful experience to have a family dinner. For sure we will always be coming back for more.

Best Date Night Dinner in Bakersfield. Kind Workers, Great Food. and Awesome Atmosphere. My FAV is Shrimp N Chips, with Very Very Very Moist Corn Bread. Did I mention reasonable price too. Eat for Two for around $40.
