The croissant was fresh and buttery. I also liked that the latte was a little extra hot.
Personally I like my coffee hot,and if your not drinking it at the shop,it tends to get cold by the time you get home.
The place was a little hard to find, but Google Maps got me there. The parking was a little confusing because it’s situated between businesses, and nothing was clearly marked.
I walked in, and the place wasn’t too big. They had 2 display cases in an L shape. It kind of worked in my favor because everything looked so good. I wanted it all . I did well and purchased the strawberry croissants, pineapple coconut pastry, and biscotti. only. I did see a huge double chocolate cookie, but I figured I’d save it for next time.
The gentleman who took my order was super nice and patient with me. It looked like they had a seating area, maybe for lunch? I’m not too sure if it was part of the bakery or something else.
1. Strawberry croissant – This is so pretty. It had the pink stripes that people mentioned. It was crisp on the outside, but once you bite it, and you hear angels singing,”Aahhh” . I didn’t know what to expect but I had to take another bite to figure out what I was tasting. It was flaky and the filling, I knew it was strawberry but it tasted like so much more. I felt like it was passion fruit or guava with how creamy smooth it was. This was definitely worth it. I did not share mine, I just wanted to savor each bite.
2. Pineapple coconut pastry – Crispy snap when you bite into it. You can taste the fresh bits of pineapple and hint of coconut.
3. Biscotti – This was fresh and you can taste the almond and chocolate. This goes perfect with coffee or tea.
I can’t wait to come back and try the cheese danish.
Oh well. It is in a non descript location with freshly baked goods and wonderful salads. The coffees are nice and strong and everything tastes really awesome.
