I really loved my lunch here the other day. We were in search of some good Mexican food and we found some! I’m always a sucker for a fried tortilla bowl so when I saw it on the menu I knew I needed to have it. We ordered the chorizo taco bowl and it was so so good. The fillings were perfection and the bowl was almost perfect! It was either a little over cooked or needed an oil change but overall it was great. We also ordered shrimp and chicken tacos. They were also both really good with a lot of meat. I’d love to see some additional toppings but what they had was good. We also ordered chips and nacho cheese because I never see nacho cheese on menus and needed it!
The inside is decorated in all things Coco the movie. It’s a medium/smallish restaurant but you could easily fit a group of 6. Our server was friendly. The parking on that street was a bit confusing as there were no meters but they have a sign inside making it easy to realize you need to pay and helps you figure out how which we really appreciated. Overall good experience and we’ll be back!

Absolutely delicious food!!! We got the birria tacos, al pastor tacos, and carnitas enchiladas, and I couldn’t pick a favorite. Horchata was also fantastic, as was the service and atmosphere. We’re just passing through on a road trip but I’d definitely stop by again if I’m in the area!

I was really craving a dessert, so I searched for something nearby and found this place I started reading the reviews and some mentioned homemade desserts, so I decided to try it I was surprised visually it looks very simple and homemade, but the flavors are some of the best I’ve ever had!
Thank you so much, it was amazing!

Only got their horchata – 10/10, hit the spot when I was really dehydrated. Can’t give this 5 stars bc didn’t try their actual food

Had the queso birria tacos- it was so good. Simple, and done perfectly. I saw other people ordering soup, portions looked generous and everything coming out of the kitchen smelled delicious. Shoutout to the lady working the front!! She was prepping food, taking orders, bussing tables, running around and making it happen!! Absolutely fire.

Homey spot, easy, and friendly. Had a good taco here, but the tripe sopa was GREAT! Tripe was soft and tender, but also had a creamy texture, which was unique. I’ve had all types of tripe from different cuisines, and I would say, this one’s a keeper. I wanted 3 more bowls. Plus, service was wonderful! Definitely would eat here again when I’m in the neighborhood!!

Returned yesterday during the Sleepy Hollow Street Fair, which was very popular and crowded. Other eateries had lines outside which was the same for Coco Taqueria.
Coco had a stand outside but had a limited menu so decided to order inside. It is a small place so was packed, also with people standing waiting for their order. I saw at least 10 tickets but also saw a lot of ready containers, but only one person sorting and bagging them. They should have anticipated that it would be busy and could have given him a partner. Instead, the cashier had to help clear the tickets so she had to stop taking orders for a good while. I give the staff up front credit bec they worked as fast as they can but didn’t seem flustered. Wait time from standing on line to getting our food was at least 45 min. Luckily we got seats while waiting for our order. Chimichanga was crispy by the edges, would have preferred the whole thing to be. Felt the portions were much smaller, less filling than our previous visit. Flavors still good.

This place was a great little taco place. Small and cozy. Friendly staff, family owned and run. Food was amazing! I got the shrimp tacos, you buy them separate to make sure to tell them how many you want. It didn’t come with rice and beans so get those as a side of you want them. My husband got the fajitas and the was so much meat! He was happy! I just had some of his rice and beans. Then we got their hot churros as we left and they were amazing to eat on a cold day walking the streets. I even left my bag there on accident and they took and put it on the back for me so no one took it. Great place to stop and eat if your in the area! Highly recommend!

Omg so good. I tried the baja fish, the carne asada and the taco alambre and they were delicious. My son is a picky eater he had the kids beef burrito and it was delicious as well. The flavors are so good and the tacos are filled not just with vegetables. I got full off 3 tacos. Best tacos I’ve had in years. Service was fast and friendly. My new favorite taco spot.
