Shrimp cocktail was decent, there are better options in town. Their fries are not good at all. Service was good and staff was friendly. I might go back to try other options in their menu

My mother and sister went here and they liked it a lot. Me? I’m not the biggest fan of seafood, but I absolutely love shrimp. Naturally, I asked them to bring me back some caldo de camaron. After a long, exhausting day, the thought of that warm, flavorful bowl was the light at the end of the tunnel. I rushed home from the gym, excitement coursing through me, and went straight for a heaping scoop.
But something was wrong. The meat didn’t look like shrimp; it looked strange, like a weird cut of fish. I brushed it off and took a bite. That was my mistake. Instead of the tender, flavorful shrimp I was craving, I was met with something chewy and bland. Confused, I looked closer. It wasn’t shrimp. It was octopus.
My heart sank. I had been eagerly looking forward to that shrimp caldo. Every rep at the gym was fueled by the thought of that caldo de camaron. And instead, I got a bowl of caldo de 7 mares, a mix of seafood I never wanted. I felt robbed. My excitement turned to bitter disappointment. I couldn’t eat it. I just sat there, staring at the bowl, feeling utterly defeated. I ate the bread, which was honestly pretty great, but it was a cold comfort.
Let this be a lesson: if you’re getting takeout, check it before you leave. We didn’t, and I paid the price, with an empty stomach and shattered expectations.

The food was pretty good. Had the taco plate, which my server made some exceptions for me. Fish, octopus, shrimp, and calamari tacos were awesome. Had to ask for spicy salsa, which it was hot. They had Bohemia cold beer on a bottle. The place was quiet, and only a few couples were in there at the time.

Boy I wish I would have tried this place sooner. I’ve driven by many times. The outside looks so festive. The parking lot is always packed. We had a hankering for seafood. We saw on Google that it wasn’t too full. So we headed that way.
My goodness the food is delicious. Starting with the tostadas and the salsa. The menu is so colorful it is hard to decide what to get. The drinks look so delicious. Everything that everyone got was so good. My son decided on a tower of seafood could not finish it it was massive. I got a cocktail with a variety of seafood and let me tell you it was packed with seafood. My husband got a ceviche and he loved it.
My only complaint is that their AC is evaporative and it was a little on the warmish side.
But we will be returning.

It’s a good restaurant. I only tried one item. I may return to give it a well rounded review. I ate the Campechana Coctel. It was ok but have had better in other places.

I highly recommend. Treated my family like family. They have Soda Rusa and Horchata and both are delicious as well as the plates. If food is well prepared and made with precision then the wait is worth it and Coco Loko does just that. Good service and delicious food/drinks.
