Nice cozy place with good quality food. There was a wait because it is a small dining room and it was packed, but we were offered coffee while we waited, which was nice. The service was friendly, but the pace was a bit slower than expected at a breakfast/brunch place. When the food did come out it was clear that it had been prepared fresh to order from high quality ingredients, so we didn’t mind the wait too much. This combined with the cozy and friendly atmosphere is what mostly contributed to the wait. People took their time eating and many tables were filled with “lingerers” which made the table turnover slow. Will definitely be back again, but may try to come at a different time to beat the crowd a bit.

The good- service is A1 here! Very friendly and right on the money! When your drink is low they are there. Everyone was smiling and no one was complaining about being at work etc. Food wasn’t bad. Flavorwise my waffle and sides were all delicious, I like my waffle crisper than mine was made but the flavor was excellent. The decor was nice for a small “hole-in-the-wall”! There is seating outside. Music is playing in the kitchen which you can hear I enjoyed the 80s music but if that’s an issue for you, you may not enjoy that.

The bad- it is a small place with limited seating so you may have to wait or feel a little rushed when people are standing waiting, the staff did not make me feel rushed, I just get that way in smaller places. I would like to come when it’s warm and sit outside.

The ugly- parking is limited and a little confusing I was nervous if I was in the bank parking where I might get towed or if I was safe because I was at the restaurant. That’s out of their control though some signs clearly making safe places to park for the restaurant would be helpful.

All in all it was a delightful place with good food. It is a great place to go and I will be returning.

Quirky place with selection of classic omelettes with a twist, e.g., the Caney island omelette with hot dog, chili, onion,& cheddar [which is awesome btw]. Gluten free options make it a good spot for everyone to enjoy.

My French toast was extremely soggy. There were 3 waitresses yet no one came to my table after I received my food to check on me. I sat for at least 20 minutes without eating the full plate of French toast that was pushed to the side. I literally sat there for a long time on my phone & finally received the bill but the waitress left before I could even say anything. No one offered to refill my glass of water or to see if I wanted anything else. I just don’t understand how no one paid any attention when I was sitting right across from the counter. This was my first & last visit.

Coco’s is a fun place to eat. The decor is filled with multiple clocks. Makes a great conversation starter while waiting for the food. The restaurant dining area is very clean, except the women’s restroom. That needs a little help.

I had the Rueben with pastrami and also had the silver dollar pancakes. Delicious.

I pulled into the parking lot 45 minutes before the restaurant was going to close and I almost turned back because I hate being the person to hold a place up during closing but a friendly man welcomed me in and I was given quick and great service. My coffee was strong and flavorful I was afraid that I picked too adventurous of a choice, my omelette had blue cheese and dried cherries and I’m not that I have ever had a better omelette.

Friendly family dinner with tasty food, friendly service, great coffee (Zingerman’s), and Michigan-sourced jams and maple syrup (Doodle’s Sugarbush in Blanchard, MI). The Harvard Hash was delicious!

I love the vibe at Coco’s. The host and servers are hilarious and friendly, the place is always buzzing, and why oh why would you want to go to a brunch place that DOESN’T have a wait on a Saturday morning?

I would recommend the chorizo breakfast burrito – to. die. for. The omelettes are great with an option of silver dollar pancakes (pic attached). Or grab some french toast! Their lattes and stuff are good but to me the Zingerman’s coffee is perfect.

I enjoy this place so much that I come here solo on a regular basis and never feel weird about it. Thanks Coco! 🙂

Had early appointment at Beaumont clinic, chose this place after Googling what was nearby, best random find, ever! Food is superb, clean ingredients, bread selection amazing, first time I’ve ever taken toast home in a box! Staff definitely smack of good human qualities, menu small but something for so many different diets and tastes. Lots of unique and styling clocks, the Elvis clock maybe coolest clock I’ve ever seen. Well done!
