Everything came out perfect and flavorful, and the staff were very polite and service was quick.
Ample parking and kid friendly!
Cocos Hot Pot absolutely crushed it. We ordered the beef combo, steamed pork buns, soup dumplings, beef crepes, and beef short ribs—and not a single miss. Every bite was , rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
Shoutout to Amanda, our server—she was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Great food + great service = we’ll definitely be back. Come hungry and thank me later.
The food is delicious, the fruit tea with bubbles is refreshing, the manager is super accommodating for vegans, some of the staff will immediately send back a dish that came out incorrectly, e.g. forgot an ingredient swap and offer a remake at no extra cost, and my friends love the hot pot options. The meals and service are top-notch, and my only gripe is that there is not enough parking immediately in front of the restaurant during the cold and slippery winter of early 2025.
Come with a big appetite. For vegans, I highly recommend the salt and pepper tofu with a side of brown sauce (make sure to ask for vegan substitutions explicitly), tofu fried rice with no eggs, and the potato, lotus root, and cauliflower chili pots with the bamboo shoots replaced with fried tofu. I liked the broccoli substitution over the cauliflower, but both are great. The bok choy and eggplants in garlic sauce are awesome too, so rotate from savory to sweet to spicy to mild sauces to see which one you like best.
Also, get there about 70 minutes before closing so that your group gets a great table for dinner without risking the restaurant running out of ingredients.
Overall, the most dim sum dishes are larger than other places. They’re good, but not the best. The black truffle siu mai was loaded with truffle flavor. The egg tarts tasted good and had a great pastry shell. The surface of the egg custard was not the smoothest and had little tiny bumps. The Portuguese egg tarts are made from the same pastry shell and the custard is a little sweeter. The tofu in the tofu pudding could have been smoother. I did appreciate them having the sugar syrup in a separate tray so you can adjust the sweetness to your liking. The soy milk was warm and smooth. The soup dumplings were good. can’t say it’s better or worse than its competitors.
