Really great food. I couldn’t even eat all mine. I had the mess plate with the onion rings on it and a side of beans. It was delicious.

First time here, ordered brisket and it was delicious! It was falling apart it was so tender. Tried every single sauce and they were all so good! Atmosphere is great, friendly staff and owner. Wish I would have ordered some sides but I was saving room for their ice cream! Definitely will be back

I travel all over the country for work and eat and many different places. Cockeye BBQ just earned their spot in my top 3 favorite places! Phenomenal food, great presentation, friendly staff, clean restaurant, and cool atmosphere! I want one of these in Illinois!

A solid five stars for the slab of ribs. Cockeye has a strong local reputation and it is well deserved. Our ribs were perfectly smoked. Tender, moist but not overdone. The tomato-based sauce was sweetish but had a nice kick in the aftertaste. At 11am there was a line and a 20 min wait. There is a dine in seating area. The Google page says no delivery but there was provision to order ahead. I was very happy with the food.

You have to try this absolutely amazing bar b q restaurant. The staff are absolutely welcoming and so friendly. We ordered our food and it was hot and on our table in less than 3 minutes. I ordered the pork sandwich with a side of cheesey potatoes. My sandwich was huge and delicious. The potatoes was the best I’ve ever eaten. My son ordered the mess plate and loved it. You have to try this place. ❤️

Excellent–better than any other BBQ I have had in Ohio or the Midwest. Interesting (and delicious) sauces with perfectly crafted meats and a lovely staff leave the experience complete. Most restaurants are run by people who seem to have never eaten food before. This BBQ joint tastes like it was founded by a professionally trained chef who loves to eat. This is certainly a high value business. I’ll be back.

Came here for the first time the other day and loved it! It’s a bit of a drive for me but it is well worth the trip. I ordered the “chicken fried meatloaf” and it was outstanding as well as being reasonably priced. The service was very friendly and there is a great atmosphere. Another great aspect is that they have a nice beer selection to choose from with good local options. Next time I visit I will need to save room to grab some ice cream from their nice little ice cream stand.

I’m a big fan of barbeque and have hit some of the best places in Missouri, Texas and the Carolinas. We’re lucky to have this place in NE Ohio. Really lucky. It’s the best BBQ I’ve found in NE Ohio.

Had heard that this place was a place for good food, so I looked online and seen the menus we decided on two items a patty melt and a half chicken well get to restaurant and they no longer have either, disappointed I decided on burgers and fries, well prob the worst burgers ever had, had better at McDonald’s and that’s not saying much. The burgers were over cooked chewy the buns were hard as rocks, needless to say the 21 dollars I spent was a waste and won’t be eating there again.
