This place was amazing. I had the fish, chicken, and shrimp. All 3 were delicious. Their sweet tea is definitely southern sweet tea. The corn bread was amazing also. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Jackson Mississippi or the surrounding area. The service was very friendly and my waiter was awesome.

Enjoyed the food and the water view! The fried fish was delicious and the coleslaw was the best! The greens and cornbread were good. Extremely kid friendly, but be careful on the dock near the water.

Really enjoy stopping at this restaurant when I’m going to or from the gulf coast. Their catfish is some of the best in the state, also top rated consistently for years now for their catfish but I think their hush puppies are some of best I’ve ever had and are very under rated.

Called in to pick up some fish it being Friday and all. Got it back to the camper and had a nice little picnic. Fish was great, service was great and the atmosphere was a little quiet since it was about 4:30p but all in all everything was good to go.

Went out for dinner and the food was delicious. I had the catfish keelboat and it was fried to perfection. Added the pot of greens and cornbread for a complete meal. The shrimp & catfish meal is not a good value. If you have a taste for shrimp, order the catfish meal with a side of shrimp. The service is very good. The restaurant is a little dated and could use new lighting among other things, but you won’t mind because the food is delicious.

My last night here in Ridgeland Mississippi was spent having a GREAT fried catfish dinner here at Cock of the Walk on the Ross R. Barnett Reservoir. VERY good meal! Fried catfish, hush puppies fries, cole slaw, pickled onions, cornbread and an ice cold sweet tea! SO GOOD!!! THANK YOU!!!

I am visiting from out of state, and this place has been suggested by multiple people. Beautiful setting on the reservoir, geese roam around outside, at night the building is lit up wonderfully. Plenty of parking. Inside there is a ton of seating, plenty by windows where you can look out over the water. Service staff was timely and attentive. The food…oh my goodness the food. I ordered the keelboat, which is fried catfish fillets, fries, skillet cornbread, coleslaw, and pickled onions. There was enough food to feed a small army, and the price was low for how much you got. The food was seasoned wonderfully and everything was delicious. I am not a fan of onions, but tried the pickled onions, and was very surprised with how good they were. Great evening here, thank you!

The restaurant was expressed to me to be exciting, great food, and wonderful service. Well, I wasn’t fulfilled in my experience; maybe because I was with a group, we were on a tight schedule and it was very crowded. I can say the cornbread was delicious and served in small cast iron skillets. I will try again.
