Checked pictures looking for a good breakfast sandwich and found a nice looking ham and egg sandwich with torta bread. This is the reality of what you get from them for $14. I asked for their Chipotle mayo and they gave me the cheap off brand regular mayo which killed the taste for this sandwich. The cheese they use is the plastic craft cheese, I think the ham is also low quality. How is there burn marks on this egg do you not clean your griddle? Very much got cat fished from their previous photos. Don’t let it happen to you!

Just what the area of spring valley needed! Reminds me of when my mom cooks for us! My husband had the menudo and I had the chile relleno and costillas de puerco en salsa roja with rice and beans and it was sooo good! They had over 6 guisados and 2 soups. They make huaraches and gorditas with any of the guisados. Can’t wait to go back!

Came for the grand opening and they had quite the crowd!! Had some menudo, costillas en salsa roja & lengua en salsa verde. The family were very welcoming to their business. Also had the pineapple drink and it was refreshing. The food was very tasty with lots of savory flavors. Spicy ️ but delicious. Will definitely be coming back to try the other plates ️.

First time trying this place. Got the mexican philly torta and cubana torta. They were both HUGE and well worth the prices. Flavors were on point, meats were tender, and veggies fresh. Includes fries too! Can’t wait to try other tortas.

I stopped in this new Mexican eatery for an early breakfast. I initially had the bowl with the chile relleno server over whole pinto beans or frijoles de la olla, but the cheese inside was burnt, rubbery, and inedible. The only thing I can consider to make it so was that they microwaved the chile relleno before putting it into the tray with the others. I could not eat it so I asked them if I could exchange it for the bistec ranchero quisado served over the same whole pinto beans, which they did.
The bistec ranchero was okay. There definitely needed to be more of it. Some of the pieces were tender, as it should be, and other pieces were kinda chewy. They need to make sure they clean out, as best they can, the connected tissues and fats off the meat. The sauce the meat came in was pretty good.
The pinto beans were fair. They were tender and properly cooked, but were onthe bland side and could of benefited from some seasoning, garlic, onions, etc. They give you corn tortillas when you order a guisado, which were perfect for making tacos and dipping them in the sauce. They corn tortillas were good.
The service was friendly and offered good conversation. They offer a variety of guisados, including beef with potatoes in a green sauce, queso panela with nopales, chicharron en salsa verde, mole, albondigas, and the chile rellenos.

I came in during my lunchtime to try it out as it was the closest restaurant around me. When i arrived i was the only one there and it took them several minutes for them to noticed me as they talked outside. Then they took forever to make just 1 pambazo. I basically spent my whole 30 minute lunch just waiting for my food.
