Really liked this place. Owner was very nice and explained that they make their own chorizo and carnitas. I went with the Sopes [carnitas]. They make everything to order. Order was up in a flash. Quite flavorful and everything was fresh. I usually dont like the ‘red’ sauce at most TRUE Latin restaurants but the red and the green sauce were both outstanding. This place is attached to a convenience store and could be easily missed. Has some American food as well.

The tacos were very good. There was a new lady taking orders and working the register and she was having a very rough time figuring out what to do. Plates of food other customers got looked really good. The menu needs pictures, I had no clue what 90% of the stuff was on the menu. This isn’t located in the best part of town. It had a 99 sanitation grade.

Small, family owned restaurant. Staff is friendly and courteous, they made me feel at home. The food is phenomenal. The best mexican food in the area. Refreshing to have such a wonderful business owner in our town, one who takes pride in their product, cares that the customers are satisfied and treats everyone as if they are guests in their own home. Exceptionally clean atmosphere on top of it all.
The food is prepared to order, so it’s fresh, (no pre-made or frozen garbage here) and cooked to perfection. You owe it to yourself to give Cocina Cabrera a try, you should not be disappointed. My first visit was a short time ago and it is now a go-to establishment, visiting 2, sometimes 3, times each week for my wife and I.

Taste, quality and presentation are definitely there. With a very friendly atmosphere. However I think the price point when considering the value needs a little review especially when placed against many of the other options in town. I will definitely go back and give it another try before making any final decisions.
