I begin with a candid confession. I did not intend to eat here today, but since the closing of my planned restaurant thwarted my original desires, I decided to walk around to see what else looked decent. That’s when I came across Coastline Oyster Co. And, I’m glad that I did. Turns out that today was their opening day and I was something like the fifth customer. Everything was perfect. Service was super attentive and the food (paired with wine) was delicious. The oysters were not only sweet, clean, and phenomenal, but came with three different sauces that are too unique but savory to describe. The cioppino was also out of this world. It had deep flavor that paired well with both its seafood and wine. Give it a try, especially if you are looking at our region’s distinct Chesapeake Bay and Mid-Atlantic recipes and culinary joys. Reminds me of a quaint seafood restaurant I go to when visiting St. Simons Island, Georgia and want good low country cooking. But this one is ours.

I booked a lunch here for my work’s department lunch. There were 10 of us. Thankfully it was a slow Thursday so there wasn’t many people in so getting a table for all of us was easy. The service was a little slower than we expected but the food was well worth the wait. We got oysters and crab dip to start. I had the roasted chicken wings which were good and my team seemed happy with their food as well.

My husband grew up near DC and we were in town visiting for the weekend from Tennessee. As a southerner, it was kind of a lot for me being in such a busy place even though it was fun! We waltzed by this place around lunchtime and thought it looked good and decided to stop. I was so pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and excellent service! The owner came and talked to us for a while and was super friendly and even bought us dessert! We’ll definitely stop by next time we’re in the area. The food was great and the dessert was some of the best I’ve had in a long time!

Happy to stumble upon the grand opening of Coastline Oyster CO. Staff was super attentive and Bryant was very welcoming as a general manager. Awesome wings prepared with Old Bay. Disappeared before I could take a photo. Best of luck with the new restaurant and I hope to return soon.

What a lovely grand opening. The upstairs room was beautiful. We enjoyed the oysters with glass of wine, the endive’s salad and chicken wings was yummy too. We plan to return soon. Kiss, Olan

Came here for happy hour and had a great experience. Lydia was my bartender and made a strong espresso martini and a rich chocolate martini. She recommended I try the blackberry oysters (mild sweetness and medium brininess) and they were great! Good to dine alone, with a group, or a date. Definitely recommend. Overall good vibes.

Friendly staff. The chipotle angus burger was delicious and I loved the decor. They have live music every week. I highly recommend it.

Love the atmosphere and the staff here – everyone is super friendly, and the place looks really pretty. The food was just okay, but everything else made up for it!

I recently dined at this restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The gin tonic they served was absolutely fantastic, perfectly crafted to complement the seafood dishes. The customer service was exceptionally attentive, making the overall dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant for those who appreciate a combination of great drinks and excellent service.

I showed up at happy hour and got oysters on the half shell, mussels, a salad, and two fantastic cocktails at a really decent price. All the seafood tasted fresh and delicious. Cocktails went down wayyyyy too easy! 🙂 So good. I think as a newer restaurant (only open about 2 months) their wait staff is still getting up to speed, but my server did a great job.
