We got there around 3. It was just mom and me. The music was a bit loud. We had great deal with the daiquiris. I got two gumbo because I thought of getting a large size. Turned out it was the perfect size with just one. I took the second one to husband at home.
We went to go celebrate Mom’s recovery from eye surgery. She was excited about it from a TikTok. The video was right on the vibe!
We got the same ones from the video. They were so delicious. We got the hot Cheetos boudin balls. Definitely delicious. Mom got the shrimp poeboy with spicy mayo and she said that they were the medium sized shrimp and was not overcooked. The one she shared with me had great breading and had been deveined.
Mom rarely gets alcohol so it being just us there worked out great. She felt a bit more at ease to drink booze.
Keep making great food. Vibe being upbeat like a boil picnic was great.

Great food! Large portions. I grew up in Louisiana and I eat seafood on the regular and these guys didnt disappoint..hush puppy’s weren’t burnt they were fresh and moist

Had to come out to Pasadena (from Cypress) and needed to kill some time. Found Coastal on Tik Tok so decided to hit them up. When we walked in was greeted by Olivia and her presence and customer service was a 10/10 she offered suggestions. We ordered the fried booty and Link shrimp fried rice, fried fish, sweet potatoes and the turkey neck and shrimp combo. Everything was good. I think my only suggestion is maybe tonight add a lot of salt on the turkey necks..but they were still a 7.5/10.

And shout out to my girl Elizabeth her energy was everything! She took our order, made sure we were happy with our food and we had everything we needed and wanted!

Saw a few TikTok reviews and wanted to come check it out… Definitely was NOT disappointed. I got the Shrimp Platter with the Coastal Sauce and it was delicious. Service was great as well. We will definitely be going back.

Shocked by the 5% “Dine-In Fee”!
This was my third time coming here — food is good, but I just realized something that completely caught me off guard. They charge a 5% Dine-In Fee!
As a restaurant owner myself, I was honestly shocked. My restaurant offers full table service, and I see it as a blessing when customers dine in it means they enjoy our food and atmosphere, and if they choose to tip, it goes directly to our hardworking staff.
Here, you order at the counter, serve your own drink, and still get hit with a dine-in fee. I had never noticed it before — it’s written on the door as you walk in, but it’s easy to miss. I only caught it this time because we stopped to take a picture of their Halloween decorations on the way out and then looked at the receipt.
I always tip when I dine out, so paying an extra 5% fee on top of that just doesn’t sit right. It feels unnecessary, especially for a counter-service restaurant.
Good food, but charging your loyal customers to simply sit and eat inside is not it.

This was my first time here, and I must say, 10/10! Food was amazing, atmosphere was inviting, and staff were awesome. I shall visit again, most definitely! What I got was a large combination fried rice w/shrimp and crawfish.

No yall. I just moved into the area and I def love it here. Best food I’ve tried since I been here, best customer service provided since I’ve been in the area. Denise. Layla. & Lizabeth they are so welcoming: made me feel so welcomed. The daiquiris love them fr. The food hasn’t missed . The music, the atmosphere is just a 10/10. Don’t let the little strip center location fool you…this place is legit! We had the Snowcrab boil and the Shrimp Boil with Garlic mild seasoning (spice was just right!) a melon daiquiri and a Tecate for $80…a tad pricey but the food was delicious and the place had a lively atmosphere with all the other diners.
