My new favorite ice cream shop in the area! So many flavors to choose from and dairy-free options too! I also really liked that it showed on the labels which ice creams were 100% gluten free. It is decorated so cute inside and is very clean! The handmade gifts that they sell are such a nice touch too! The woman that waited on us was so friendly and patient. Will definitely be coming back!

Took my kid along for mold remediation work today, and we stopped at Coastal Ice Cream and Sweet Bar in South Pasadena as a treat. He worked hard, so I let him pick his reward, a scoop of their cookies and cream ice cream, which he loved. Such a great hidden gem. My kids and I would come here periodically after a day at the park or swimming and the owners are always so incredibly sweet. The ice cream is delicious and prices more reasonable than any other ice cream parlor in our area. My daughter wanted an ice cream sprinkles themed birthday for her 5th birthday and rather than doing it at home with limited options, I had an idea of doing it here so they had unlimited
options. We were very excited when they not only welcomed us to host her little birthday gathering here, but also allowed decorations, balloons and more. Even after the sugar kicked in and the girls started getting a bit crazy, the two women on staff remained so patient, kind, accommodating and allowed the kids and our adult guests to sample as many flavors as they wanted. Everyone loved their selections, but the best part was the peanut butter pie slices we got to go. Best in town. The pints are priced very reasonably which also allowed me to send some home with our guests which was really nice. Thank you coastal ice cream for making my daughters 5th birthday a beautiful one. We will be forever customers

This is an adorable little ice cream shop with board games and tons of ice cream flavors. I was impressed by their FIVE flavors of dairy free, vegan and GLUTEN FREE ice cream. The coconut was delicious! Also have Dr. Brown’s soda!
