To top it off, we were lucky enough to find parking right near the restaurant, making the whole experience even smoother. Overall, it was a lovely evening with great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. I would absolutely return and highly recommend Coastal Flats for a special night out or any occasion.
You can tell from the photos we truly had an enjoyable time.
I’m sure we’ll visit again and will order the crab fritters, they had lump crab and shrimp. The fritters were thick, fresh and had little to no seasoning allowing you to taste the crab, they were delicious. The filet was thinner and wider than any I’ve ever had. Was cooked med but was almost medium well. Potatoes on both plates were dry and needed some more sauce. Nice atmosphere, great waitress. Easy parking. Ate dinner on the patio.

Just a tid bit of info, I have been kind of going through a lot this month, so I just wanted a table to sit at to enjoy some lobster bisque. I had a craving for it, and I just wanted to treat myself because I rarely do this and rarely go to dining places anymore.
Matt’s vibe and energy was just so refreshing. He was so genuine, kind, attentive and helpful. His customer service is on point. I’m so grateful I randomly came in this day and that she sat me at his table. I really needed it that night and he is very good at his job. I wish more people in the service industry were like him, but I get it, because customers can be cray-cray sometimes, so it can be hard.
I just want him to be recognized, please, with not only praise, but hopefully some kind of extra compensation. I’m not kidding. His service was so great and he knows just when to come and help and just when to let the table rest to eat.
I’d also like to shout out to the staff that night. Whoever manages does a great job. It is very efficient and looks effortless. The used plates and items were taken off the table immediately and it left room for the tableware that I was using to be spread out. Everyone worked together in a seamless way to help the customers have a great experience. I was very impressed.
The food was amazing, so hats off to the chef and the kitchen staff as well! I could drink gallons of that lobster bisque! (It’s that good)
But, please, can you make sure that Matt Rodgers is compensated extra for this superb service and experience that he allowed me to have despite my rough month? I would really appreciate it for him.

I only wish they had a couple veggie items in their menu – they just have 1 entree making it harder if u have vegetarian food that don’t like burgers 🙂 would love to see some seasonal additions to the menu ! Overall fantastic chefs, bartenders and service !
