Coastal Coffee is a nice little spot if you are looking for a relaxed marina vibe. The view and atmosphere make it an enjoyable stop, and the coffee itself is solid enough for most people to enjoy.
That said, if you are a true coffee snob, this probably is not the place that will wow you. My biggest gripe is that they do not serve drinks in glass or ceramic mugs, only to go cups, which takes away from the café experience.
Overall, it is a pleasant stop if you want a casual coffee by the water, but not the place to go if you are chasing a high end specialty coffee experience.

Quest and Consume
We stumbled upon this local coffee shop while on the way to Pier Village and couldn’t be happier with the find!
This little shop is tucked away above the marina. And is definitely worth making a stop for!
They have a great selection of coffee, sandwiches, and snacks! We tried a couple of their lattes, the French Vanilla and the S’mores. Both were good, although the s’mores latte didn’t taste much like an actual s’more.
We’d definitely plan to check out some of the food options on the next visit.

Stopped in while on vacation and loved it! Everyone is friendly, the food is good and seems high quality (gluten free bread option was great), and the latte flavors are unique and so tasty (I recommend the Dark Chocolate Raspberry Truffle latte).

Great pitstop on the way into St. Simons Island! Lots of breakfast/lunch options and plenty of regular and creative drink options too. You can even take your food to-go and sit out at the picnic area by the Marina and watch the boats and birds go by.

I came on the opening day (July 10th. 2025). i was greeting with the warmest smile and the kindest soul. i ordered there chocolate covered banana iced latte and there cinnamon french toast. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone and will be coming back soon!!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast and had the best time! The food and coffee were super fresh and absolutely delicious. They’ve got an awesome selection of hot and iced coffees too. The vibes are cozy and fun, and Ms. Cindy and the whole team are so friendly—they make you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. Definitely worth a visit!

Such a wonderful experience, we had to come two days in row. It’s a beautiful location, with incredibly welcoming and accommodating staff. We had the Ballast Burrito, Coastal Sammie, Yogurt Bowl, Crab Muffin, and Chocolate muffin, and all were so delicious! The star of our meal was the Chocolate Banana Latte! Definitely adding this to our must visit when at SSI!
