Great place to grab a bite to eat after a long morning of fishing the North Branch of the Potomac river. Food is always great and atmosphere is very relaxed as locals love to make this there spot to eat. I LOVE their grilled cheese with ham and tomato sandwiches. I usually get TWO of them to go with a bowl of sweet, delicious chili. I never miss to stop there when fishing there in the Spring, Summer, of Fall. Always great service and food.

All there food is homemade there. Burgers are made from scratch and into patties. The roast beef melts in your mouth. The waitress, and cook are always on top of things. So much to look at in there, it awesome for such a small place. Go try it out if you haven’t yet. You will not be sorry. And you too write in a comment

THE best sweet tea I’ve had in years!! Deep fried corn on the cob was excellent. You must try the “wedgie”!! A nice spin on sandwiches! Not your average “diner”. Lots to look at while you wait and you can purchase a variety of items here.

This was our first visit to The Coal Bucket Restaurant! It was absolutely amazing! We had awesome waitresses, the service was so fast and the food was AMAZING!! Most definitely thumbs up!! One of my favorite places to stop when working within 40 miles of the place. Food is always excellent, staff is welcoming, and even the locals have greated me with a warm welcome when I have stopped. Their community support just adds to the package. If you haven’t visited, your missing out.
