My husband and I had the chipotle shrimp tacos which were amazing. They are street tacos so they are a nice light meal. If you want something heartier, the burrito is very large. My husband got the carne asada with shrimp, this was my favorite with the cilantro lime rice and black beans. We enjoyed it with some local beer and a rum and coke, outside in the beautiful sun

The owners and staff are amazing! Our little girl left her purse there and they shipped it to us in Nevada. The food was affordable and delicious and I was able to eat gluten-free and dairy-free. I highly recommend supporting this local business.

Great food and service! I had the ravioli with marinara and meatballs – excellent and a large portion. My wife had the clams and pasta – tasty. The beet and goat cheese salad was excellent and the ceasar was good. Buy one get one half off 4-6. Thanks Coal Bank!

Wonderful little Italian restaurant. Food, service, and atmosphere are all great. The fried ravioli and home made meatballs are equal to the best I have ever eaten. My wife is limited to a special diet and they took the time make her a delicious pasta dish. The tiramisu reminded me very much of that which is made in Italy.

We had the BEST vegetarian burritos here on taco Tuesday. We were passing through town and tried this place since it had a crowd of locals. We don’t eat meat and luckily they had veg burritos. Hands down the best my wife and I have had. Period.

We had drinks and chips and salsa here. The service was great and I liked the atmosphere but I thought the chips and salsa were only so-so, therefore we decided to look around town for something different to eat. After poking our noses in every restaurant in town and eating across the street from Coal Bank Taqueria (bad idea), I’m convinced by the photos and reviews that Coal Bank Taqueria likely has the best food in Silverton. So I probably missed out by not eating there. Drinks were delicious though. I’m grading on a curve today, so 5 stars for Coal Bank Taqueria!!! Don’t make the same mistake I made! Take a tour of the town then sit and have a drink and food at Coal Bank Taqueria.
