I’m not from Chicago. I didn’t have any pre-conceived ideas of what deep dish pizza should be like, but I wanted to try it. I’m glad I did. I really liked it and I’m definitely going back. There seems to be some strong opinions in the reviews about Coach’s deep dish pizza. So I had some questions when we went, which were all answered by the friendly staff. You can get their Chicago or New York style sauce (as well as other sauces like Alfredo, but I wasn’t going there) We got a sample of the Chicago style and it is sweeter. It was too sweet for me. So, we ordered the NY style and it was great. Next time I’m getting ricotta inside. That’s probably heresy to Chicagoans. I might also order light sauce and some on the side to dip because I’m going for what I like, not the way it should be.

Couple of positives here… the garlic knots are really good and cooked well. Had the right amount of butter and garlic. The pizza is not Chicago pizza though. This is a stuffed pizza that they then top with sauce. We ordered the pizza with the meats and meat to cheese ratio was spot on. It had the perfect pull. The crust was perfectly crispy all around. The sauce that they added to the top was far too sweet for me. The Italian sub was toasted well and hot.

Pizza really good. Wings, not too bad either. Wish they would make their ranch and blue cheese homemade. Prices are very fair. Clean atmosphere as well. Will be coming back to try deep dish for sure.

My little wanted pizza so we decided to try this place out. The staff is great, they are very friendly. Overall my little one’s enjoyed their cheese and pepperoni pizzas. My daughter was not a fan of the vegan cheese. Which is no surprise, she usually isn’t. We tried the deep stuffed dish pizza, we were not a fan of it. Now, the pizza is very filling and is stuffed really well.

This was my first time trying a traditional deep dish… boy have I been missing out! EXCELLENT! The staff were very very nice (despite being VERY busy on a Friday night). I got the 8’’ deep dish which is A LOT OF FOOD. I also wanted to try the chicken parm pasta… it wasn’t all that impressive but still good. The pizza and service is what shined and earned the 5 stars.

This is seriously the best pizza I’ve ever had. They have so many different things for everyone here. The 12 inch deep dish is big enough to feed the family by itself. All the people are super friendly and super helpful. The guy who took my order with the beard went above and beyond. He made sure to explain to us anything we had questions about. I highly recommend stopping by if u want a truly unique experience.

Quaint pizza parlor where you can find some peace & quiet while enjoying a meal either solo or with the family. The owner himself is in working just as hard as the staff, just trying to make the magic happen. A pizza shack where you can really get a great pie and taste the effort being put into it. Would highly recommend over National chains in the area and definitely fighting for top spot in the city overall.

Such a great experience for the first time. I love the extra room they have with the arcade, connect 4, etc because it entertained my kids while we waited for our food. We ordered an extra large veggie pizza and it was very good. The guy who took care of us on Tuesday night, July 20th, had great customer service!! He was awesome! Overall, a great experience.

I called and placed an order was told it would be a 20-25 minute wait. I got there and the food wasn’t ready. I was told there would be an additional 7-8 minute wait. I said that was fine. I waited for my food. I ordered mozzarella sticks ($6.99) and a 14 inch combination pizza for ($17.49). I have to agree with other reviewers. The mozzarella sticks really were horrible. Almost like it was not fried to completion or old. Whatever is wrapped around the cheese is not good at all. The pizza was alright. It is a flat and crispy type of pizza style, but the ingredients on top of the pizza were a bit salty and tasted cheap like. I think for about the $30 I spent on the food it was slightly disappointing when people have been raving about this pizza place being like New York or Chicago Style pizza. I would not say it is comparable taste wise other than the thin crust. In comparison to some of the other pizza places in town. The prices are more expensive for a smaller pizza. This is in comparison to Gaines Street, Decent Pizza, Little Italy etc. I can honestly say I probably won’t be back.
