This place used to be my family’s go to, but the food quality has deteriorated over the years. Only has decent bun bo hue, otherwise none of the other dishes are worth eating – you’re better off having these elsewhere:
– Crispy egg noodles with seafood – egg noodles is hardly crispy at all, very soggy, with very few seafood
– Sugarcane shrimp with vermicelli – skimped out on the vermicelli and the sugarcane shrimp itself is so unimpessive
– Dried egg noodles with seafood – only decent, the sauce is a bit strange for this type of dish tasting a bit peppery. Not very generous with toppings. Recommend you go to Quang Vinh in St Albans for the best version of this.

The broth was the highlight — my partner absolutely loved it. The noodle soup was rich and aromatic, and the fresh spring rolls paired perfectly with the peanut dipping sauce. Simple, comforting, and satisfying.

Banging BBH at this place, my first visit to Melbourne and ate here twice with friends. Service is quick and staff are plentiful. Would come back here the next time I’m in Aus for sure

Been to similar restaurants in St Albans, and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and prices of this one in Sunshine. The restaurant is very large and has a great atmosphere. We had the Bun Bo Hue and Banh Canh Cua.

Absolutely amazing experience at Co Do Vietnam Restaurant!
The food here is outstanding — full of authentic Vietnamese flavours, beautifully presented, and incredibly fresh. Every dish we tried was delicious, from the pho to the grilled meats and rice paper rolls. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into each meal.
The staff were just as impressive — warm, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. They made us feel so welcome and looked after us from start to finish.
Co Do Vietnam is easily one of the best Vietnamese restaurants around. Highly recommend to anyone who loves great food and exceptional service!

Long term customer here, for a long time I have specified that onions can make me sick, and if they keep getting it wrong I will not order again. This time I am keeping my word. This is not good. Disappointed

Co Do is a popular spot among my friends, especially for its Bun Bo Hue spicy beef noodle soup. Naturally, we had to try it, along with the broken rice. The soup was decent but not particularly outstanding, and the portion size was relatively smaller compared to other Vietnamese restaurants.
However, the menu offers a wide variety of dishes, making it a great place to explore different flavors. The restaurant also has plenty of seating, which is convenient for groups. I plan to return to try their tomato rice with beef, which is said to be one of their best-selling dishes.

Hit the spot after overseas eating only Western food. Banh canh cua is rich sticky and hearty but was lacking that shrimpy kick, whilst the bun bo hue was good but missing that nostalgic sour punch. Taro shake was perfectly creamy and coconutty. Overall not a bad meal but I’ve had better.

Food was okay, the broken rice plate was generous in portion, but the sweet pork tasted a bit seperated, we felt like the sauce and the meat didn’t combine well. Chicken and corn egg drop soup was standard.
Thought service and hospitality could be improved as the server looked visibly upset and pissed ever since we walked in.
