We went because I had saw the Korean hot dogs all over tiktok and just absolutely needed to try them! They were delicious. Hot and crunchy! I got the 1/2 mozzarella, 1/2 sausage with potato batter & waffle fries.
Will come back for the chicken- also looked wonderful.
Dumplings in the middle of the second photo.

Very small wings… hand picked for cost saving?

The wings I ordered had a smell/taste that I think could be due to meat not being fresh enough…

Everything was pretty yummy!

We got the garlic soy chicken, potato mozz Korean hot dog, and tteokbokki. The potato mozz wasnt the most flavorful, the tteokbokki was good but wasn’t anything super special, but the chicken was very good!

I am on the city side of St. Louis but made the drive out here because my friend was wanted Korean hot dogs. We stuck with the hot dogs and almost tried the chicken wings. The menu is straightforward with different flavors you can mix and match on the outside and inside. I got half cheese and half meat and it was yummy but nothing mind blowing. The inside is clean with a modern Korean vibe and there is actually a lot of seating, probably over thirty spots. Ordering is quick and simple and the staff was really friendly. I saw Koreans hanging out of all age ranges.

I wish I could say I’m a huge fan.

I was disappointed with the Potato Mozz Sausage Hotdog. The sausage inside was maybe 3 inches long, cut in 2 small pieces.

The dumplings were the best part.
The chicken was a good size.
I doubt we’ll be back.

Best fried chicken tenders! Love this place have been two times and both times the chicken was amazing. The hot dogs are great two I like the mozzarella sticks better but without the sugar.

My first Korean Fried Chicken in STL area! This was so good! The fried chicken is extra crispy as Korean Fried Chicken should be. The spicy sweet sauce was delicious. The meat was hot and juicy. Our mozza hotdog was very tasty as well. The sidedish of raddish was very flavorful and great after a hot bite of chicken. The ambience is just right for an east Asian diner. Korean Fried Chicken was a comfort food for me when I lived in Asia and this place checked the boxes for my nostalgia. I thought the prices were just a little bit high, but it will not detour me from having it again. Go eat this. Will it make your heart strong and powerful? Probably not. But it will make it full and happy.

CM Chicken & Ssong’s Hotdogs is one of the best Korean fried chicken restaurants I have had in St Louis. The service is very quick, however, the servers struggle in understanding your order right away. For instance, we wanted a plate of garlic soy chicken tenders and a plate of red-hot pepper chicken tenders. They straight up refused giving us two orders of chicken tenders. I don’t know why was there any confusion to begin with nonetheless, we just placed an order for half chicken with two different sauces. The garlic soy was stellar and the red-hot pepper may get spicy for those who are not acquainted with the flavor, but it is very good. The potato mozzarella stick isn’t our favorite because once it gets cold the cheese is just a blob of fat and the potato is very chewy and has no crispness. This place needs more recognition for sure because they have fantastic fried chicken at good prices.

The restaurant has several sauces that pair really well with your fried chicken that work well when paired with the hotdogs too. The service is friendly, quick, and the ambiance is very vibrant and has a super chic appeal to it. If you were visiting South Korea, I am sure this is what a typical café would look like and serve. The only drawback I see is that they don’t offer more than one sauce for your order. This can be quite annoying especially when you are willing to buy more than a plate of tenders/wings/half chicken etc. I would also like to add that the half chicken doesn’t have enough meat and it ends up being far more bony and tenders definitely are more value for price especially when you see half chicken and tenders are the exact same price.

The people of Korea are known for making exceptional fried chicken. Went here tonight to try this place after hearing about it through the grapevine. I ordered the 10pc wings which was $18.99. I asked if I could get them in two different sauces and I was given the most unapologetic “no” you could get. It’s a huge pet peeve of mine when places refuse to do two flavors in an order. I would understand if I was trying to split 4-5 wings into two flavors but this was a big 10pc basket. The only explanation for this is sheer laziness. If huge restaurants, that have 100+ customers in the building, can accommodate multiple sauces then so can a place like this whom are only serving 15-20 people at a time max. The chicken itself was crispy and, according to my Korean girlfriend, extremely close to authentic. The meat was juicy and the batter had a mild spiciness which I enjoyed. Like I said they refused to do two flavors so I just got the wings naked with two sauces on the side. They charged $2/ea for the 3oz condiments. You’d think one of them would be free considering the chicken would have been tossed in at least one for no additional charge. I believe that was just the incompetence of the cashier so I can’t hold it against this place. Getting them on the side turned out to be a blessing in disguise because one of the sauces, curry, was so sweet that I couldn’t even eat it. It was literally cloyingly sweet. Like candy. The other one I tried was their most popular sauce – spicy garlic. This was a typical Korean yangnyeom sauce with gochujang, sugar, garlic, and pepper flakes. This one was fantastic. Nothing original but well made nonetheless. The chicken itself was so well cooked and high quality that I would still recommend this place despite the tiny, albeit many, flaws. 8.4/10 clucks

Chicken was good and potato mozz sausage was bland. Thought it was odd that we tipped them and they yelled at us to get water and pick up trash. We cleared our entire table for them besides our water cups. Tipped 20% yet went up to order, got our own drinks and then even was asked to clear the table. Def need to work on service. Music was blaring and hard to talk. Tried it but won’t be back.
