CM Chicken in Vernon Hills is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere and music set the perfect vibe, and the lovely gentleman who always serves me makes every visit feel welcoming and personal. I recently discovered this location and I’m already in love—this is my second visit just this week.
You must try the honey garlic chicken (it’s incredible), unless something else on their impressive 10-sauce menu catches your eye—honestly, you can’t go wrong. Everything I’ve had has been fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
I truly hope to enjoy this spot for a very long time. Do yourself a favor and stop by to support this fantastic Korean restaurant. Highly recommended!

Food was very good and the service was amazing. Got it for the first time a few days ago then came back again because it was so good. We got the KUU-I sweet chili bone in wings and the spicy garlic chicken balls and both were great. Great food and service.

The service at CM Chicken was absolutely amazing! The staff was so attentive and friendly. Our server (or maybe the manager) noticed we might need a phone stand and brought one to us without even being asked — such a thoughtful gesture! The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Everything about this place was perfect — great food, great service, and a very warm atmosphere. Definitely coming back again!

Ohhh I love Korean fried chicken ! I love the spicy garlic flavor plus kimchi on the side ! Always fresh food with delicious flavors. This is my 5th time in this location, but they have a big restaurant style on milwaukee rd. as well. The owner, the managers, and the employees are welcoming ! See you guys next time !

I’ve been coming here for a very long time so I feel like it’s about time I put a positive review for this place. The food is great and the spice levels do not exaggerate! The host is very friendly and the location and atmosphere is very nice and cozy! I recommend coming here if you are ever around the Hawthorne mall area and want a good experience!

I highly recommend them. The restaurant was super cozy and I assume the manager/or owner welcomed us so politely. He was so attentive and my mom felt so comfortable because, she only speaks Spanish and he tried to speak to her in Spanish as much as he could. So they definitely welcome everyone in. The restaurant started to get filled up and he showed the same kindness and energy to everyone. The food was also amazing! We were 3 people in total and it was so delicious we didn’t leave a single leftover. I’m from Wisconsin but I’ll definitely come here as much as I can. We had chicken dumplings, shrimp rice and fired chicken. He also explained and went through the menu with us. Thank you so much. ❤️
