Stayed at the hotel across the street from Clyde’s so we saw how busy this place stayed. This was dinner for us so it was in the early evening.
My ordered the Big “C” with cheese along with onion rings. My wife had a Sloppy Joe along with coleslaw and a chocolate shake.
The lady who took the order was wonderful; cool, calm and collected. She kept customers orders flowing in smooth fashion. Again, Clyde’s was busy it was a 30-40 minute wait until food was served.
My wife liked the mild spiciness of the Sloppy Joe. I wish the burger had been cooked with salt & pepper, either way, it was hefty 3/4 pound burger. Oh, and my wife said the chocolate shake had the right amount of chocolate.
If you are spending any time in St. Ignace make effort to swing by this renowned establishment, you won’t be disappointed.

If you’re from Chicago this isn’t your normal greasy fast food spot, but was good for what it is. Tartar sauce is mustardy/relishy. FYI. Eating area inside and outside is very small. Asked fit cheese on the burger, didn’t get that. Onions on burger were chopped for hot dogs not sliced for burgers.

This was neat experience. Although we decided to sit at tables and eat, you can drive up and sit in your vehicle and order food. Was a nice family atmosphere and must stop in for tourists. Very friendly staff, and food is made fresh.

Old fashioned drive-in just north of the bridge in St Ignace. Friendly service and great burgers. Kids meals come in a hot rod car box- so cool! Drive in or park and eat inside diner style. Great variety on menu- something for everyone. Always a busy place, glad we stopped!

Great old-fashioned drive-in burger spot! Get a burger made to order, fries, and a shake and you can’t go wrong! CASH ONLY and they have an ATM inside if needed. This place is a gem! Eat in your car or at the picnic tables- there is limited seating inside as well.

What a cool drive in spot off the highway. Pulled in and got window tray service or you can take it in a bag to go. Menus are provided in font of you when parked. Nice tasty 1/4 lb cheese burger & rings. A pretty large menu of choices. Good service.

We love Clyde’s. We always stop on the way in to the UP and the way out. Prepare for a wait, but it’s worth it! Please tip well. They’re only open for a 1/3 of the year. Everyone who works there is awesome! It’s nice to go in year after year and see the same faces.

Cute drive-in! Good selection of food. I had the bison burger and loved it. Also had the hot poppers but they weren’t anything special so I would just suggest fries. Service was good and fast. Probably my second favorite of the three Clyde’s in the UP.
