Food was incredibly mid and seemed like a bunch of bland Gordon food service items smashed together. We added chicken to our salad which ended up being a sparce amount of gross, pale cubes. Romance lettuce was clean and crunchy tho. Good place if you just need something I guess.
Also, a very odd set up as the windows are completely covered with contact paper so you can’t see if theyre open.

We have gone to Clutch many times over the years and sadly have seen the quality decreased each summer. I understand how hard it is to operate in a tourist town. However, we noticed this summer that the prices seemed to go up while the quality of food went down. The chicken on the Greek salad was literally cubed deli meat. They changed up the menu, which was not for the better (in our opinion). Their famous “knuckle sandwich” can still be ordered, even though it’s not on the menu… however we were disappointed by its lack of flavor. I hope next summer they can focus again on homemade foods and quality ingredients. I’m happy to pay tourist prices, and support local businesses when the food is delicious.

Huge variety of food, was easy to order, and was done within about 20 mins (we ordered pizzas, might be quicker with just sandwiches). Our group of 6 all really enjoyed what we got and we all said we would get it again (took it to eat on the beach- but they also have 2 tables outside if you wanted to eat there). Knuckle sandwich was a particular hit in our group, as well as all the dipping sauces that came on the side.

So far we’ve had pizza, salad, cheese bread sticks, and tried a couple sandwiches. Every time our food was perfect regardless of how
busy they are. They make an excellent pizza at Clutch. The dough is made carefully and aged long enough to develop good flavor. They clearly use higher quality cheese and toppings. It’s always cooked perfectly. It’s the best pizza in the Mason county area. Can’t recommend enough!

We both really enjoyed our meals here. I got a sandwich and my husband got a salad. Would definitely check it out again- it was the best value in the area. They did say it would take awhile but luckily not as long as the estimate. Be prepared to wait. A lot of patio seating which is nice because you can’t eat indoors really.

Popular with locals, we ate here simply because we couldn’t get in anywhere else. I was quite happy to see gyros pitta on the menu because it’s one of my favourite Greek dishes ( well anything Greek). The girl taking the orders was friendly it’s either takeout or outdoor seating weather permitting. For the price I paid for a sandwich I was expecting a big sandwich but unfortunately no, portion size was small and when I looked in it was just kebab meat not proper gyros. I said not coming back again but ended up there because of lack of other options. This time we got a pizza vegi option which was very nice and bit closer to value for money

I think they need to work on getting organized. The shop was a mess (which makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen). We ordered drinks, and finding straws for those drinks was a 10-minute affair. They also didn’t seem to know how long it would take to complete our order. I think this is a newer business, so I hope they can figure things out! The menu and food are awesome. Just pack your patience if you plan to visit.

It’s the spot to go for homemade sandwiches, pizza, and soups! Jill’s food never disappoints! Thier new seating area is very cozy. If your visiting Pentwater, Clutch is a must stop. Especially during or after a beach day.

Sadly at this point the 9 things you can order that aren’t pizza end up sold out quick… and the soup is order cold.
