I was quite surprised by just how flavorful the chicken was without having to rely on a bunch of seasoning.
I tend not to go to many restaurants that sell charcoal chicken because I’ve found that, for the most part, the flavor is produced not by enhancing the natural flavors of the chicken, but by adding a bunch of spices that overpower, not compliment, the chicken. That was not the case here. The skin was nice and crispy, while the meat was juicy and bursting with flavor. I also really enjoyed the sauce that was provided. It complimented the dish perfectly! I thought that the price was worth the taste and the portion size.

You have the option of indoor and outdoor seating. On a sunny day, I highly recommend sitting outdoors for that relaxed atmosphere.

First time visiting and Fernando made us feel welcome, helped with the menu, and even made a recommendation of the Mother Hen for a family of 4 which we ended up being happy with, everything was nice and tasty. Looking forward to returning and trying other items.

Had the sloppy chicken, enchiladas, chips and salsa and kids chicken fingers. All of it was pretty great. Service is wonderful and they brought over samples of their brownies which were delicious. Definitely coming back.

Top-notch chicken served in a variety of ways. Tasty sandwiches and salads are offered as well as meat by the pound. Portion sizes are quite filling and could easily feed two people. Large variety of sides to accommodate all preferences. The garlic smashed reds are my personal favorite. Service is friendly and ambiance is pleasant. Multiple locations in the Chicagoland area.

Chicken is not charcoal cooked. Definitely baked extremely dry. Raw garlic in slaw mixture. Extremely dry corn muffins, the chicken had been heated an reheated. Tasted like few days old, a bunch of ot sitting. Not a pleasant taste experience. Bathroom was dirty.

Never had a bad experience. Lemon bricked chicken is fire. Chicken falls off bone and tastes good. My co-workers and I love this place. Not sure if this is a buisness or city ordinance, but wish you guys stayed open later than 8pm. Simply an hour or two would definitely help the people that work late and nights. Otherwise, totally recommend a place to stop when you are in the area.

A little pricey and the portions are quite large, but worth it. Very juicy and flavorful chicken!

Looked very good BUT my wings definitely weren’t made fresh. The flavor of Sticky and BBQ sauces were very good. I’ll give them another try.

Earlier this month, I was strolling in downtown Libertyville and decided to give this place a try. When I entered the restaurant, I walked up to the counter to view the menu posted on the wall. Two female employees were glued to their phone. I asked several questions about the menu, and one of the females – dark brown hair, I believe her name is Jacquelyn – gave me an irritated look and just handed me a pamphlet menu to see additional details. The restaurant just opened a few minutes ago and already she did not seem thrilled to be here. I decided to try the Rotisserie Birds – 1 Dark Quarter Clucker with BBQ sauce, potatoes, corn muffin, cole slaw, and grilled corn on the cob. As I seat myself in the back to dine in, there were paper plates with half eaten breakfast food eaten by the employees laying around. I was the only customer at this time. Two employees have walked by several times and did not bother to clean up the mess.

The food was disappointing. The chicken was tender and flavorful; but the potatoes were salty, cole slaw was so-so, and the corn muffin was a bit stale. I received the corn on the cob a little later and it was a little dry. The whole experience wasn’t appetizing as I thought it would be. I did call one of the employees over several times to request a couple things, but she was too busy being glued to her phone. I just walked up and left. Needless to say, I won’t be returning. The manager/owner needs to train their employees on etiquette and customer service.

Cluckers is my favorite place to have a sit-down dinner. The food is incredible, the service is excellent and the price is just right. I really like their brick oven chicken dinners. The place is usually pretty busy, but the staff is so good I have always been quickly accommodated! 5/5
